It looks like the duo are putting on their wingsuits and preparing a short flight around to selected locations in Norway.

If you haven't heard their album 'Wingsuit Issue' already, it's about time.

Has anyone seen one of those first two shows? Did they just play the 2 songs from their album?

This is free impro / jazz / soundscapes – so I will expect something completely different.

That's right. Nothing from the album played, as that was recorded five years ago and was totally improvised. So are these shows. The album is quite ambient, so expect something much heavier for these shows.

Playing tonight at Kafé Hærverk in Oslo (last night was cancelled). Tickets are NOK 250, but if you bring your significant other or a good friend, we'll let him or her in for half price. So that's two tickets for NOK 375.

Hope to see some of you psychonauts there. Welcome!

For those who missed out – here are som pictures from Trykkeriet Scene.

And for those southerners – there are plans for an international tour.

              Uiuiui – sounds promising :-)

Curious: Did Hans use loops, or other effects he usually doesn't with motorpsycho ?

Nothing particular effectwise as far as I could tell. It was maybe more about refraining from any melodies. Soundscapes, sometimes at Motorpsycho sound levels, and the intuitive interplay with Thomas.

Hans said after the concert that this is much harder than playing with Motorpsycho. Having to stay 100% concentrated all the way and never knowing what comes next. With Motorpsy you have this safe framework with the band and the melodies. With Thomas there is nothing like that, you just have to be focused and ready for anything.

But, as he said, he is taking this experience back to the band. So I guess we will expect even more jazz metal in the future. Even more extreme versions of K9.

Audio capture from the usual suspect is today up on Dime. Feel free to share where ever you want, but please keep it lossless. No mp3 shit if not for personal use. Takk.
