Thank you for all your work, looks great! I wonder how I can see "my" stats – is that already implemented? Logged in and tagged a couple of shows but only see the general data, at least on my mobile phone.

@Tomcat, yes that's already implemented. When you are logged in, there should be an item "My gigs" available in the navigation. Or you can go to this URL https://mpdb.space/my-gigs/ when logged in.

The personal statistics page contains the following:

        – unique songs heard

        – total songs heard

        – number of gigs attended

        – list of attended gig locations

        – which songs you've heard live and how many times.

Also when you are logged in and go to a detail page of a song. For example https://mpdb.space/song/flick-of-the-wrist/

You'll see during which gig you've heard that specific song.

Thanks Blashyrkh, after I turned my phone for 90° (= wider screen) the magic unfolded: this is such a great psychonautic nerd tool you created :MPD: Thank you also to those who worked on the data – so cool to have the general and personal mp stats at hand. (Setlist.fm was nice but this is special!!) :STG:

@Anders, please reach out on kippenhok577 (at) gmail (dot) com, or let me know your e-mail.

I have relistened to 24-10-2006. I was at that show too, so it brings back great memories. What is on the recording captures the vibe well. But there really are loads of glitches throughout, so maybe something can be done before circulating it. I'll send you a copy as is, and then we can see how we feel.

I also have alternate sources for Stavanger and Bergen 10-2002. The Bergen recording is very boomy and inferior to your recording. The Stavanger recording is a bit boomy as well, but I think it compliments your recording well as there is more bass, and on quick scan through the recording it seems not to have the glitches on your recording. Both of these came directly from the taper, but he provided no linage and both are in audio TAO format.

I have just a small correction: Beatpol and Starclub in Dresden are two names for the same venue. They had to rename themselves a few years ago because the owner of the name of a long-abandoned club in Hamburg insisted on it.

@ringo: So the other Starclub is the venue where The Beatles had their residency back in the day? That would probably explain the name change to Beatpol as well.

Yes, I know :-) Cheers, Ringo (real name)

But there was indeed a legal warning from the right holder of this name.

I found 6 additional recordings in my collection that are not listed as 'available' in the database:

                      -2006-04-27 Halden

                      -2006-04-29 Copenhagen

                      -2006-05-09 Biel

                      -2009-10-13 Hamer

-2010-05-28 Cologne; sound quality is rough

                      -2012-03-24 Bergen; unicorn

All recordings have the complete shows

Wow, many thanks for the research, Kippenhok, very good work!

The database was taken from my manual notes of Motorpsycho's setlists and recordings and there were probably some errors, so corrections are welcome.

I simply forgot to list the recordings from

                        2006-04-29 Copenhagen

                        2009-10-13 Hamar

2010-05-28 Cologne (not all songs are complete on my copy, dhhimmisblue)

                        2012-03-24 Bergen

                        The other two from

                        2006-04-27 Halden and

                        2006-05-09 Biel

I have never heard of so far. If you have copies then please contact Anders or me (juergenmaass68@web.de).

                        @Juergen: you've got mail :-)

In regards to 2010-05-28 Cologne, I didn't check it properly: my copy is also the dhhimmisblue, with various incomplete songs.

Quick question for you guys: the domain mpdb.space is about to expire. Is it okay for if we change it to mpdb.be instead of keeping .space ?

This domain change will reduce my cost with more than 30 euro’s :-)
