      -Beautiful. Anyone know about a cheap place to stay in Amsterdam?

      What do you regard as 'cheap'?

      Amsterdam is huge with a bazillion places to stay — do you have any additional criteria besides 'cheap'?

      Crackpot Idea — I would not recommend "budgethotel.nl" in Eindhoven — it's a dodgy shithole at best and a front for human trafficking at worst.

      We saved a psychonaut from staying there a couple of years ago!

      Eindhoven has plenty of nice hotels. Because they cater to weekday business travellers, they tend to offer discounts if you are staying on a Saturday night, so check bookings.com and avoid that budget dump like the plague (which you could end up contracting if you stay there).

                        Anyone in for a beer or something before the show at Effenaar? Any plans for meeting or so? Guess some of you people will go to this concert. I've never been in Eindhoven before, and i travel alone.

                          "Or something" sounds like a good idea, although I think I'll be lucky if I make it in time for the concert, since I have to work that day.

                          If you're worrying about finding the venue, it's very close to the railway station and it's indicated quite well. De Effenaar itself has a pretty good pub in the same building and there are a lot more in that area too.

                          This 38 year old dutch guy will be attending with his french wife! :-)

                            The guys will play at Orgelfest in the Nidaros Cathedral with Ståle Storløkken on Nov. 2

                            Last time the played in the cathedral was a wedding in 94 according to Snah.
