Quess nr 45 is sliding into 3rd base, with the ball coming from the outfield (and the photographer is on the field?) – or would the original picture be the other way around?

How do you know it's 3rd base?

well, he could be sliding back to second or first, but that would seem somewhat odd

RW4 can be pre-ordered directly from Rune Grammofon within a weeks time.

I like the cover. Wonder what the rest of the sleeve looks like.

"Customers who bought Roadwork Vol. 4: Intrepid Skronk also bougth Nora Foss Al-Jabri". Guilty pleasures anyone? :)

I love that cover, really classy. One of my faves already. But hey, I like simple covers with something on it I can recognise!

I tried asking around a baseball forum about the cover, but they couldn't identify it beyond it being a Negro League game, and that it's old..

Nothing iconic in other words. Weird :>

There are a couple of things that strike me as weird.

                  1) The right leg of the guy with the glove (dunno what they are called in basball) looks odd. Almost like an improvised prosthetic.

2)The left leg of 45 is apparently reacing over the other guys leg, yet you cannot see the foot where one would expect it to be visible.

                  3) Considering that their feet has crossed, one would assume that the two men are in close proximity to each other, yet 45 seems alot bigger so that it appears that he is much closer to the photographer than the other guy.

Interesting, monomind! Here's my two cents.

                  1) The glove is called a "mitt". The guy is lunging forward with his back leg trailing behind him. I don't think it's a prosthetic, just a weird, but not impossible angle in an action shot.

                  2) Guy 45 is jumping and I think the foot is obscured by the other guys' leg.

                  3) No idea about this one. Guy 45 could just be a lot bigger than the other guy. And, considering the age of the picture, I think that distance to the camera could indeed be a factor.

A little drummerbird told me the tracklist would be a very varied list with songs from Kapstad's entire live career in Motorpsycho, so they will probably be from a lot of different shows.

so some "quiet" songs from 2008, like landslinde or serpentine, could be on it too. …only 3 weeks left…
