Dime's helpdesk isn't very useful or I don't get it. Anyway, I probably need to upload something but to do that I need to get that torrent file link thing and for this I need to go there http://bt.dimeadozen.org/announce.php obviously but that link seems to be down. So I'm screwed.

So if someone wants burn me that show on a DVD he's very welcome to do that. :)

Oooh oooh! *sticks up finger as high as it can go Me too! Me too!

Dime and me have never been friends, my computer is of retirement age and my download is limited. Moreover, me and Crackpot Idea were at that concert.

Can I mail you too, Alex? Please? :-D

          Greets,

TvdR: me, too! In fact, that's me up front rocking out, long dark hair, black carcass (!) tour shirt, and glasses because I'd just gotten back from Asia where it had been so !%@%# hot and humid my freaking contact lenses warped :-)

An epic night for sure. They could have played one song, a cover, a bad cover, and I would have been ecstatic having spent the previous months in karaoke hell. But of course they delivered a fantastic set, chock full of new (to me at least) songs. It was my second MP gig after having seen them in 1994 and I had been dying to see them again. In the meantime I read and re-read the letters containing gig reports sent by friends in Europe…no vimeo or flickr or dime or youtube back then

Actually, it was right before this gig that I discovered this forum, in one of the many combination karaoke/internet cafe places: I saw the upcoming gigs (Waterpop and Tivoli) and knew it was time to fly.

Oh yes, and as my comments on dampsaba attest: "Motorpsycho opened for Dead Moon; there was only a handful of us up front going crazy … everyone else was just hanging out babbling at the bar … these poor lost souls missed a beautiful show … later that night I fell into a canal … from then on I was officially Dutch ……huuhhhh …

          lighthouse girl"

Hmmmm, yes, well, as Fillmore put it, "And my god, they were young back then"

          :MPD:

@ Little Lucid Me: Good to hear from you again! I wasn't at that gig, my memory failed me again. The first MP gig I saw was in Tivoli, yes, but in 1999. All that talk of a massive "Chien" got me confused; according to Alex the second longest "Chien" ever taped was played at that concert (lasted about 45 mins.). Glasses I can get (warped lenses? never heard that before!), but you in a Carcass-shirt? ;-) Oh & I remember a time before internet too, even a time before CD's!

@ Ummagumma: You lurker you! What's this? You have a Facebook and an MP-forum login? What's the world coming to? ;-) Alex has probably already sent it to me; he reacted to my post here a minute later through Facebook, after which I mailed him from Yahoo (this digital age is amazing), but I am sure our C. Idea will be delighted! Give me a call soon anyway, haven't heard from you in a long time. And thanks for the congratulations! To all wondering why the congrats: I'm getting married on July 23rd.

              Greets,

              Thomas

              @ ummagummaga:

              Wow, thanks David

              I'm delighted indeed!

Looking forward to the Wedding Band rehearsals, I'll drop by Elektra soon and bring a setlist-update & some cd's with me.
