Bent was asked to contribute his favourite 10 songs to a certain topic. He apparently sent 23...all metal tracks from the year 1980 - the best year for the genre, in his opinion.

By the way, I mention Blue Murder because they were led by John Sykes, who played in Tygers of Pan Tang, Whitesnake and Thin Lizzy, all three of which feature on this list. The debut album is completely over the top - hysterical, really - but you gotta love it! The amazing Carmine Appice on drums gives it a hell of a kick too.
