It has become a reliable tradition, with every MOTORPSYCHO-single, in this case Starmelt/Lovelight,
to replay the tapes once more, and to pull one bit more out of the seemingly
bottomless amount of material of the Norwegians. Meanwhile this way, they have built up a
unique 'wood' of equal ep's, which has only been fortified by the starmelt ep, which, besides
THE PIE-cover version of Up Our Sleeves (deep in rock!), contains three songs, which no doubt
could have been placed on Angels & Daemons At Play. The 4-track miracle Wishing Well stops
after 5 minutes, which is in fact a shame, cause it could have hopped on for ever thru space -
it does hop, but gently! If Flick Of The Wrist hadn't been 8 epic minutes long, it could have
been succesful as the next single to speed up the retro-train (Did you notice? I want to be
quoted at any cost!). In the end, Gebhardt finally acquires some attention with Instamatic and
proves yet again that he should be playing with TOM WAITS some time.
