Mantrick Muffin Stomp
…which is a brilliant album.
Well yes, you can move about for relief. But my performances' aftermaths aren't as smooth as they used to be 20 years ago. Now I'd only tour with professional masseurs or physiotherapists even. And pre show exercises
Ah, above I meant to say glad not to be onstage for 3 hours every night with heavy gear on. Bassplayer here. Though I switched to guitar recently. That's a silver lining there.
Quote:Finally! It has been a mystery why I should have to stand for 3 hours just because I like rock-music, while fans of other types of music (classical/opera, even some jazzgigs – with their coffeetables!) get to rest their feet.True that. I'm seriously starting to feel that way, too. 3 hours do go into my back nowadays. Just glad I don't have to be standing onstage with heavy gear on.

I realized it's only easy to say "60E a year" (as I did above) if you're not a bit late to the party and need/want to get their back catalogue now. Bit more expensive as if you were a Tool fan since 2016.
I just bought a record or two since 93, so I never felt like spending a lot. But sometimes I wish I'd discover a band nowadays with a huge back catalgue to delve into.
Buying everything they put out adds up to about 60€ a year tops. How's that expensive?
Look at that. Interesting
Lots of bands like these out there, not necessarily connected or influenced or whatever by MP. See Elder, they're brilliant and on Stickman Records but I guess that's about as far as it goes. I heard some Weedpecker, they're allright. This Sabbath tune is really brilliant though:
Don't know much about italy
Don't know much about germany
Don't know much about that belgian place
Don't know much about the norwegian I took
But I do know that I love you
And I know that if you love me too
You would add some swiss dates now!
could it be:
write some material, take it on a small autumn tour, go home, finish record, release and tour it big in spring 2018?
By "songs" you mean 4 to 5 minute pieces, tightly arranged, or was it more free and long jammy stuff? Or probably both of them…?
someone was there: https://www.instagram.com/p/BSO7nVXDuVr/?hl=nb
sounds promising to me
A very fine show in Winterthur! Playful, energetic, killer show. Great musicians (Per's an amazing lead guitar player!), Rolf and Hallvard did some lead vocal duties, too. Kenneth used a smaller drumkit as usual, though he brought the big one before to that cramped stage. An outstandingly tight and fun live unit, they are.
nope, still pics only. on pc browser and iphone app.
