@ Tomcat – yeah I would love to see Needlepoint open for MP as long as the MP set isn't cut short.
I see there was no performance of Nox the last two shows.
@ fillmore – Starhammer has been played 3 times so far this tour, if my count is correct.
@ Piter – I reckon The T = The Tower.
Acoustic Babylon! I find that very amusing for some reason
@gyankumar – Anekdoten were also playing in Malmö last night so that might have affected the number of attendees.
@Anders – oh dear, looks like you fell victim to the Plan #1 / Fools Gold finale you expressed concern about. Still, I hope you had a good show.
@johnny – you had me its stitches!
A little statistical fact for those hoping to hear NOX during the tour: so far the band have played it at three of the six gigs. If that continues, there's a 50/50 chance of hearing it at any specific concert. Cosmoctopus Lurker is the only track played at all six shows.
Really nice variety in this setlist – old to new, long to short, heavy electric to light acoustic.
@Devotional – I count 34 too.
Edit: I have to say I'm really enthused by this setlist (and the whole tour repertoire to date!). I'm just back from a short walk, with Sunchild and Step Inside on repeat. Step Inside is probably my favourite track from the pre-Demon Box era.
If any generous soul would be kind enough to send me a copy of any recording from this show (if there is one) I'd be especially grateful. My email is jyotipunj at hotmail dot com.
@OtherFool – I was listening to ULV ULV not 50 minutes ago. I absolutely adore it.
@Juergen – I had wondered to myself if some of the acoustic material that Reine was working on might see life as a tour release.
It may be a bit early to start a 2023 thread but Motorpsycho have been announced as headliners for HRH Psych festival in Leicester UK – 24-25 June 2023.
@ThorEgil – aha! Thanks for the clarification
@ThorEgil – I guess they added ASFE and Like Chrome as they proceded. Perhaps they felt like they had time to throw in a couple of extras.
Different indeed! I agree with Boomer, Sun Ship is a very cool and pleasant surprise.
Of course! I was sitting here thinking, they must have misspelled STG. D'oh!
WTG?
