      So I now have tickets for both Groningen and Leuven, and I think that will be all for me for this round of gigs unless they quickly add something between Utrecht and Groningen, or a London show is added. I hope to see at least some of you at one or both of those shows. :D

        I looked a few times at the Powerline site in case they added dates, but assumed they would probably have them all wrapped up and released at the same time. As for the UK, I'm sure you're right. In 2017 they had a support band and only played 2 hours, which I assume was because they just don't sell enough tickets. There's also that thing called Brexit, which may or may not affect visas and other stuff, but since nobody actually knows what's going on, it's anybody's guess. I've been checking in at the websites of some of the venues they've played before in London, as well as a couple of other contenders, but so far zilch. I'm glad I've got a ticket for Leuven ;)

          @Tomcat – Is that official?

          I hope that means more chance of a London date between Hamburg and Utrecht.

            @JERO – I'm right there with you on the Trust Us matter. :cheers:

              @ Jero – :lol: I think this is only the second time I've ever listened to such samples and in the previous instance (about four or five years ago) it was for the latest album by my favourite band of yore, Yes. In essence I completely agree with your philosophy with regard to "the contemporary culture" you describe. And altough I could certainly put forward an argument for listening to snippets of certain bands as being like tasting a fine wine at a vineyard before taking a bottle home and opening it in a controlled environment conducive to appreciating its full glory, that would be bullshit. Because the fact of the matter is that I'm afraid that less than eighteen months into this infatuation I'm still rather like the proverbial kid in a candy store. All rational thinking and patience has been ushered aside in the glaring light of the wonder of not just music in general, but the music (and existence) of this specific band.

                Five hours since I posted the link and no other comments on those samples. I expected a whole bunch of posts lol

                  @otherdemon. Sounds like flute though, not sax, which is what I thought you'd speculated earlier. Either way … I like it!

                    along with 30 second samples – if you're interested in spoilers.

                    EDIT: Oh those samples are so tantalising :D

                      This is a post from Sid Smith's Twitter feed from several days back. Not so interesting in terms of information, but this and Marc's post above mean pre-release reviews will likely start coming through fairly soon.

                          @ Neil Tresor and @ BronYAur – you're mentioning HBM makes me wonder what they might have up their sleeves for a tour EP. ;)

                            Psychotzar – another Sabs ref? Psychotzar and Psychonaut to go along with Supertzar and Supernaut. These guys crack me up.

                              Listening to Trust Us this morning and I'll definitely add my voice to the calls for a return of Radiance Frequency, with a quartet line-up.

                                @ JERO – I once saw Chris Squire wielding his triple-neck bass, while playing Taurus pedals on a stage on a boat at sea which was rocking so much that at the other end of the stage Steve Howe's pedal steel (which he keeps on wheels) kept rolling across the stage as he played his regular six-string and retreived the pedal steel with a foot. The things our heroes do to make a living and keep us entertained. :D :D

                                  @otherdemon – But there's another photo of them playing STG ( :STG: ) and he doesn't have the twin-neck.
