Thanks! Very high standards still regarding mood and performance I think
Nothing new in Berlin last night: 1h45 festival length consisting of the unicorn + Starhammer. Felt like they played the album on purpuse stoner-riffier within the Desertfest frame
They do not have a Sax with them. But you can be looking forward to la Lethe all the same

I see Next
yeartour then!Well, "jedem seinen Geschmack", in Cologne there were many parts when I wasn't touched by the music (as it also happens to be with the album). But then it appeared that by seing a second show the whole thing makes much more "sense". The comfortable Schlachthof situation combined with herbs in advance and perfect spot had their influence as well I assume. Plus a band being on fire of course. Coming in too late always sucks. And if you hate the Unicorn even a proper presentation like yesterdays will not make you a believer I guess…
@space: see cologne thread
Hi Spacebandit! Too sad you could not make it to Bremen At least you had one show, and they don't vary their sets that much actually this tour anyway I was looking for a guy in a Grateful Dead Shirt ->Dimeadozen< to say hello. Great that you taped Cologne – you delivered the cream with your recordings last autumn! (Pssst: I can say that we'll have at least one full and quite listenable documentation of last nights show as well, bass heavy for sure
What a band!
Schlachthof Bremen always gives us the best mp shows – splendid sound and view from any position plus a friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere – the concert yesterday was a perfect presentation of the unicorn from the first to the last note. It might not become better, only different for this tour. Another dimension compared to cologne. The encores were majestic. I am smiling from ear to ear of motorhappiness since 8 pm last night
.
Well – them three playing mp tunes and a selection of the Unicorn seems pretty perfect to me ;-
Cologne
TDDU
Starhammer (great fourpiece version!)
Close Your Eyes (deep, heavy & majestic)
…third encore was in the air but hopefully spared for Bremen
Just curious: was it the first time you left before the end of a mp show, or the first time you stood til the end?
A few hundred people in London is great I think since mp do not have a label or tour support in the UK.
Otherwise society should have talkers and brutes be thrown out or at least officially complimented to the back. I prefer people being high than drunk – alcohol makes people chatty and rude!
"Kleine Zaal" sounds interesting, seems max 400ppl incl. balcony do fit in there – never been in there… Pre excitement is starting here
Wow!
