      Would love to, but coming in from Ruhrgebiet/Germany is too expensive and time consuming :-/

              Oho, thank you for fast delivery Captain :) Good setlist, funny to see a (mp?) song being named "Lovesong"- now all we need is a tape of this and find out about that cover, too ;-)

                        "8 Soothing Songs…" is also re-released, but not listed on that website – you can find it on others though.

                          Hi Harry, sounds like a good night-off for babysitting :) I would be staying in Amsterdam overnight and be there early enough for the complete Tortoise set. We could get in touch via LAST.FM -> click on Tomcat – or can I contact you? I'm in the mid 30s btw. ;-)

                            It's rather quiet music, but JUNIP have a fine album out – José Gonzales & friends doing "folky floating Krautrock" ;-)

                              HARRY, are you going with friends already? I am thinking to come over from Düsseldorf (Berlin next day is too far) and wonder if I could join someone – wouldn't go alone :/

                              BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE are indeed not obviously MP-ish since they appear more "poppy" on records, and they may seem "weird" in the first moment with their wall of sound. But once you realize that it all works together in complex structures and pure musical understanding, you'll find a whole glittering universe of melodies. And I love they guys themselves as well – just great :)

                              Nearly had my ticket for HALLOGALLO Cologne on the desk, but finally cannot go for family reasons :-/ MICHAEL ROTHER live 2005 and was amazing: brilliant soundwaves at the time – you knew where "The Wheel" comes from ;) – plus adorable straight krautish beats (which you can also find in latest BSS ;-))

                              BATTLES are amazing, too – sad their killer-drummer left to go solo…

                                Anyone from the forum going to see BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE in Amsterdam November 19? Incredible live band, they are playing with Tortoise…

                                  Nice to have the band ending this year with some live show(s) – a good chance for trying new stuff in front of smaller crowds ;-)
