Nice find nuar, thx a lot!
I'm hoping that the alternative version of Like Always with Back To Source lyrics is on here. If they recorded that version. Those live ones from Brescia and Brake 1995 were kinda cool.
Yeah, I noticed that too. But it is kinda strange that Rune G. is not on the list of investors.
It's available for pre-order at Rune Grammofon now. However, you can only pre-order the 4cd box + book bundle for now. One can also order the hardcover edition of the book in a bundle. So it looks like the hardcover book won't be that limited edition
As of now, there are 102 people who have pre-ordered the hardcover version! So it will be released, at least
Christer Falck posted a promo scan of some selected passages from the book. If that scan is representative, then it looks like it will be a nice balance of the writer's own experiences with the album + facts/info/tech-geek-o-rama from Bent & co.
Here's the scan for those not on Facebook:
Well, this will be a nice addition to the upcoming 4CD set
Obviously I've pre-ordered. I want the limited edition hardcover version.
A little important piece of info: You'll need a Paypal account to be able to pre-order.
October 11, 2012 at 12:06 in reply to: Opera – late show starts 21.00, not 20.00 as written on the tickets #23003Let's hope this means that both shows will be long! Although I suspect it's because they want a longer break between the early & late show…
Quote:Out of interest. How much is a pint of beer ?That depends. If you know where to look, you can find pubs that sell beer for approx £3-4. But those "establishments" can't really be called pubs. More like holes in the wall
The cheapest way to live in Oslo is if you can find a psychonaut with a spare couch
Ok. But it's still strange than when I rewound it on my CD-player, there's 8 1/2 mins of silence there instead of the bonustrack. But nevermind, I have it on mp3, and it's not really anything special…
It's an early Columbia/Sony pressing, purchased shortly after it was released.
Actually, if you guys have heard the little intermezzo between In The Family and Un Chien D'espace on AADAP: That's actually a snippet from A Shortcut To The Stars.
The hidden track in front of Blissard is neither of those two songs. Funny info: I have a CD-version of Blissard that has 8 1/2 mins of silence in front of Blissard instead of the bonustrack! Is that a rare or a faulty version?
Quote:The what?Bent, Snah & Deathprod fooling around at the Blissard sessions. Deathprod did however release the single on his Morals & Dogma boxset earlier, so I'm not 100% sure if it will be on the expanded Blissard.

Quote:It is said there is a lot more music from the sessions that yielded one of my favourite (sounding) songs "Mad Sun". These are the Kunstakademiet-sessions you're referring to, right Rolf? Looking forward to the package – whatever it contains.I think that's what Rolf's referring to. See what Bent has to say about these sessions at the end of this page
About the original mix of Blissard: I remember Snah commenting somewhere that Blissard was troublesome to make, because the original mix had several guitar parts that were out of tune/poorly played/etc. And that's why they had to re-mix/overdub in an Oslo studio before releasing the album we all know & love. So I'm not sure if it will actually be released.
Other than that, the b-sides from the singles, the hidden bonustrack in front of Blissard, and possibly the Jörg Mager Trio single are tracks I guess will be on this new Blissard.
Wee! Too bad they didn't give an indication for the release-date. But I'm hoping it will be before the Opera concerts in November!
Hi. Here's a picture from the Action Jazz with Snah gig in Oslo last night:

Really cool gig. They concentrated a lot on covers (among others Grace Jones' Nightclubbing and The Cure's The Drowning Man!)
