Pretty sure it's during TGC and not Plan, at least on the old "This is Motorpsycho" video tape. I don't know the words without watching it again but I remember it ends with "Anything's possible"!

      Yeah, it was during TGC.

I remember during the good old days of G35. Usually that was one of the most frequently asked questions: What were those words during TGC on This Is MP? And people got so sick and tired of answering

Anyway, try and search the G35 archives on these pages. The answer might be in there *somewhere*…

Yeah, Bent plays bass on 5 of the 9 tracks on the album.

Hm, I guess that's sorta good news. But where's 8 Soothing Songs For Rut?

I guess MP and VME worked something out finally. In the court trial (almost 10 years ago!) the court noted that VME had done a poor job distributing and making the MP albums easily available both in Norway and abroad. That mistake seems to be corrected now, at least.

I would say A LOT harder than Cold Mailman. I saw them at this year's Øya. Prog/psych-experimental screamo-core, whatever. Pretty cool stuff.

Yeah, it’s officially announced on Folken’s homepage. Tickets are for sale as well, as far as I can see.

And while we’re at it, the song Innersfree which also appeared on the TM box, turned out to be the same as Lake Innersfree which was performed 5 times in 1991-1993. And it was a Ryan/Sæther original, not a Sir Lord Baltimore cover like some people thought.

Juergen: It is possible that Very 90’s, Very Aware was performed other times as well (because quite a few of the setlists are inaccurate/incomplete). But the Gent 1994 live version is the only one that was RECORDED by bootleggers. So we’ll never know for sure…

Oh yeah, and another thing that hasn’t been noted: Phoot’s Phlower from Oslo 2006 features elements that would later end up in Gullible’s Travails. But not sure if it could be called an early version of GT, though.

I saw them at Musikkens Dag in Oslo this year. Really good band :o

Funny thing: Is it just me or does the guitar-intro to the song Time Is Of The Essence sound slightly similar to Come On In?

Yeah, that’s the problem with these polls: If you have a laptop, and switch IP-adresses quite frequently, one is able to vote quite a few times.

But hey, a poll like this is all lotsa fun!

No, it’s just the 2 first CD’s of the new version.

Yeah, this one was pretty hard.

I did however vote for Blissard because: 1) The Nerve Tattoo is the best ever pop-rocker MP ever did and 2) The STG/Manmower combo is 14 minutes of sheer unadulterated majesty. HMF is however a great album, it just lacks that little x-factor versus Blissard…

Also, as an album, blissard (all killer) is sooo much better than TM (some filler) imo, but I guess the golden watersound wheel makes TM a favorite.

I do not agree. Blissard could have been better than TM, yes. But the ending with Fools Gold and Nathan Daniels just totally fucks up the flow they’d been constructing for the 8 previous songs.

But if the album ended with Manmower, then I’d might agree with you  But then again, that would be boring.

The album Children of E.L.B is pretty damn good! Some beautiful melodies in there…

Btw Snah plays guitar on 3 songs: Utopia, Playground Memories and the title track.

I think MP pulled the plug. All the albums that were removed were those that they own their own rights too. The Voices stuff is still there for obvious reasons, while LLM and HMF are licensed to Rune (which btw are also removing all their stuff from Spotify January 1st 2011)
