Quote:So, why did Kim Hiorthøy not make the artwork this time?
Don't know, maybe he did not want to mix Håkon Gullvåg's great painting (which I consider a must for this release) with his own work?
it grows indeed
I think I remember this one from the verkstedhallen gigs, worked very well live.
for some reason I start thinking about zz top when listening to a.s.f.e.
These short festival gigs is often a bit strange imho, a classic MP tour is something completely different
Flick Of The Wrist was not included due too many similar songs on AADAP I think, of course that was a huge mistake.
all gold gone
FFF is on Tidal now! Yeah, thanks!
That was a good one. Seems like there are lots of really nice material sround ðŸ¤
Crazy!
How did they managed to get permission to use Gullvåg's artwork?
He is one of the greatest and most interesting painters of his generation.
If The Tower is worth this treatment is going to be massive!
The CD is kept in kind of slow, repeative and ambient style all the way. While the play had several more powerful pieces which I liked a lot when watching the show.
I suppose the guys wanted to do it this way, keeping the CD homogenic?
Maybe the more MP like material (in the play) is reused in the
upcoming September release?
Would be interesting to rip out the music from the DVD and listen to it as a record.
earplugs is not enough, you need earmuffs as well
Ship of Fools was introduced by name.
sitlist indeed! What would be the ultimate sitlist?
This is a very strange discussion I would say.
Can't be problem that MP creates music and then want to sell it?
starhammer comes to mind, it was different, however at same time very motorpsycho-ish.
It was "normal" MP songs, not that much jammy.
The spirit was: "let's play some new songs and check it out".
Of course, it worked out just fine
