Don't listen to that! I bet you that most of the "operaish" things he heard are intros for songs. And in case i'm mistaken, then believe me, there are some solid rockers in there aswell! I wouldn't worry about it.
Some very promising snippets there! Can't wait!
Booking for the London Gig ->
Ticketsale for the london show starts tomorrow according to RG (info by e-mail).
He's also very involved in the Album documentaries for Nevermind (Nirvana) and Dark Side of the moon (PF) to name two more. Browse around on youtube, and you'll find both
Quote:What Thom Yorke got wrong is that his music isn't much to cheer about, nobody claps their hands when they wander off with rope in hand. That's one of the dumbest statements i've ever heard! But that's just me..
That's quite alright man! One can't like everything out there. I'll check out the davn band song. PS; This project is an ever evolving one (much in the same vein as MP just with coded drums instead of live drumming – This perticular live setting was for an "avant-garde" happening, so we diceded to stretch the songs out abit more + discard guitar and bass. So to put it short; Keep tuning in, and perhaps you'll like it eventually.
PS; That dawn song sounds like the creation of bent sæther and billy corgan. Pretty cool!
Well there you go!
Here are a couple of live videos from my new project "Head Generator". Hope you like 'em ->
1) Head generator – Borderline – Live at Dama Di, Bodø 04.10.11 -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8AzcvqkCbo
2) Head Generator – Capture Point – Live at Dama Di, Bodø 04.10.11 -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gv4RooDnMmY
NOTE: The sound could be better
One can get a pretty clear view of the boys feelings about autotune/pitch when viewing the tussler dvd – one the "gag reel". At the end bent is singing the harmony vocals for "Highway Zen", and states that any sourness on the vocals can be fixed with autopitch if it gets annoying while mixing. So there you go! They're using it, and don't seem to care that we know.
Personally i think it sucks abit. Instead of hiding behind such ridicilous aids like autotune, why not just focus abit more on actually getting the vocals right in the first place?!
Yeah and also…the worst case of auto tunage on RW4 in my eyes is the chorus of TBPR&B. Bent sounds like a synth at times.. Not good!
The list is 100% complete! Trust me!
EDIT: TB got the setlist from me, but he changed the order. Diana was indeed nr. 2, and starwheel was next. But there are no songs missing. No new ones sadly..!

Yeah good album! But I guess I like Trees Outside The Academy even more.
I guess one of the reasons may the that there aren't any drums on this album…at all. There are percussive bits here and there, but no real drumming. The absence of Steve is clear…
Nice songs tho! Thurston still got the touch.
52 Min to be exact! But it was still good! Alot of nice jamming. Some major hickups during YZ, but other than that, flawless! I (as a diehard fan) loved it, but i feel that they kind of blew it a little in terms of the whole audience proposal, being a festival gig and all. Many left during the show. But then again, one should't expect anything after all these years, should one?!
Cool. And hey! All PR is good PR, no matter what
Nice bike btw
You can surely say LOL. It is indeed! You can clearly hear it from the glasses clunking
