Heh you can’t fool the internet. I tried ordering the Mp3s from 7digital.com, but i still have to wait until tomorrow to get my download ticket. Ah well. It’s all good!

PS; I was also abit underwhelmed, but it gets better and better for every listen, so just give it time

I agree with you man, but i feel that you left out a crucial part of this masterpiece. KÃ¥re Vestrheim. He’s done a hell of a job with the keyboards + arranging/producing, not to mention creating their great sound nowdays!
I wonder if he’ll be joining them on the next tour…Cus HMF as a trio can be abit of an anti climax compared to the album..

Well i think i’ll have to eat my words on this one. Been playing it 5-6 times now, and i dig it more and more for each spin. SH and GT are fantastic songs (which i instantly liked), and now the rest of the songs are starting to grow on me aswell. So kick that grumpy GBD up there in the ass, and tell him it’s magic

Huh…i must say after my first proper listen, that i’m actually a little dissapointed. Don’t know what it is, but i find myself not that eager to press play for another round as i’ve been with the 2-3 previous albums….But i guess/hope it needs time to grow

This is old news indeed! The video you refer to is actually a live version of the tune that MP contributed to the Patrick Fitzgerald Tribute album “All sewn up – a tribute to Patrick Fitzgerald”. The original track was featuring Jello Biafra, but he couldn’t participate on the live performance, so they hired Atilla The Stockbroaker instead to do the vocal duties – (That quite an entertaining guy you are referring to).
Can someone please tell me how to buy this from amazon.de? Me german is shabby + i get the feeling that i have to be a german citizen to be able to buy it from them……?

Note; Only Kenneth representing the band, aswell as Hanne Hukkelberg. Not that much new info. Hanne tells the story about how she ended up singing on the album . Apparantly it was a favour back to bent after he played bass on a track on her latest album (“Bandy Riddles” from the album “Blood from a stone”).She has been a MP fan for a long time, and after writing the song, she found that it was so inspired by MP that she had to send Bent a text message and tell him about it, and ask him if he wanted to play bass on the track. He did, but he didn’t want any money for the job, just the option to ask her a favour back when he needed to. He cashed in on that favour, and the rest is brand new history
Ps; The track Bandy Riddles is a pretty cool tune! Check it out!
I found the leak, but was unable to download more then most of Starhammer. And YES…the quality really sucks! But on the other hand….the song is spectacular! That quiet jam part is simply stunning! Hope to get the rest of the album down sometime tonight. Note; I’ve ordered the album, so this is just to tame my massive curiousity until it’s in my hands!
