Bavarian Guitar String Summit: Motorpsycho delivers psychedelic scorcher at Backstage in München 22.05.2022! A dream setlist is the launchpad for a distinct Sunday show charaterized by long solos, dueling guitars and improvisational explorations within a psych 'n' prog realm, leaving the heavy riffing almost entirely aside until the encore. It's hard to single out highlights as the show was one long cohesive trip but of course I will have to mention the beautiful beginning with "Taifun" and "Manmower", the latter breaking entirely new ground for five minutes in its jam. I will also have to mention a brilliant 15 minute "Dreamhome", a personal favourite of mine, an insane "STG" and the 17 minute "Mountain" during which Reine took the first solo, the major one, and he just killed it. And we got NOXed again. Smiling band, decently filled venue, crowd into it, 2h45min show. München and Motorpsycho truely delivered. Thank you! On to Dresden…

Starhammer! Is this the first Starhamster of the tour? And how was it? On the last (EU)-tour (2019) it was a nightly highlight, each version totally crushing the previous version, every night a best ever version. Also, I gotta love an acoustic set.

It blows my mind they are now an arena rock band selling out 20.000 capacity venues in an instant while commanding ticket prices of around 200€. Geez, what has happened there?
200 people in Malmö with Anecdoten playing the same night?! That is a very good result for MP in 2022! Good job by the promoter indeed.

Italian dates are most likely confirmed just waiting to be be announced and to go on sale! I hope they won't keep us in suspense much longer and that the gap in the tour can thus be filled. Will the tour be viable at all without Italy? I hope so!
To anyone already planning their tour: Deutsche Bahn (DB) has some insane deals on tickets at the moment! ICE fares for around 10-14€ one way. I just scored a bunch of ICE tickets for 10€ a piece (with Bahncard 25, without seat reservation). That's cheap enough to not use them should I decide to not attend a specific show or to choose another mode of transportation or if the tour gets postponed (unlikely, but with Covid and war you never know).
Palp, what a sick line up indeed! Place must be spectacular.
