Yeah, they need to follow this up with a tour where not everything drifts off in to space rock jazz land. It's been a few years since last time I saw them play the shorter, more paced up songs, and I miss that.
Listening for the first time now. Started with the Pidah disc. I want to hug The Matter With Her. What a song!!
Mikrobryggeriet is good if it's not too crowded, which I doubt it'll be on a monday. You can't go wrong with an amber or IPA before a MP show.
I'm up for it if I'm going to the concert. If there's tickets available on monday, I'll probably go. So where and how do people meet up?
PFFFFFFFFFFT! I live in Trøndelag myself these days(I'm Snah's neighbour, actually). I haven't seen a real mountain since I left my hometown in august:) It's all just small hills up here, really.
You should visit western Norway, then! Bergen is where MP are most likely to play, but just a few hours north, we have all that you ask for(except for bears). I saw Motorpsycho play between these majestetic mountains and fjords a few years ago. Worst MP-show I've been to, actually.
Can't let an opportunity to promote my home turf slip away:)
Judging from a quick listen to the snippets, it's understandable they didn't go for the Pidah mix. Greener sounds better though imo

"Following the release of "Timothy's Monster" Deluxe Edition, now comes the second part of the series chronologically structured. "Blissard" was originally released as a single CD and double LP in 1996, and accompanied by two singles (The Nerve Tattoo and Manmower), both of which are released as a CD and 10 "vinyl. The "Blissard" 4 CD box set contains a total of 48 songs, 22 of which are previously unreleased. The box includes the original album and a lot of tracks that had almost made it, but were ultimately rejected by the band. There are plenty of alternate versions, covers and various compilation tracks. All in all, the ultimate "Blissard" experience. The guys from Motorpsycho have opened the vaults for this box here and present essential material for hardcore fans Motorpsycho and an interesting document which underpins the work of one of the major indie bands.
The CDs come in a cardboard box with an extensive booklet, poster and liner notes by all the essential part in the making of the album people."
Congratulations on discovering this wonderful band! May I ask what albums you've been listening to so far? There's still a lot for you to discover, and you're in for a treat!
AND they're one of the very best bands I've ever seen live, and I've seen a lot!
And you're always welcome to come over to Europe to see them. I'm sure someone will take you under their wing:)
Haha, now i'm not sure. Otherfool says it was evernine and not taifun. Need someone to confirm!
Edit: taifun
Taifun!!
Mountain
Bent teased the album opener and said they'd play an old one instead
Some guy just assumed the toilet was occupied and held up the queue for a good 25minutes before a guard came over and opener the door for him. Funny little story.
So far, hollow lands is the highlight. Sharks any minute. I'll be back with encores
