One of my favorite albums from last year is Slift – Ummon. Amazing band from France. The vinyl edition is awesome. Love the artwork.
Stickman Rec has a few records for sale.
For sulfur guitar lovers, prog from beyond the grave and blip blup blop of old synthesizers; blitzkrieg fuzz and geyser Free; bass escaping from Minas Morgül’s dungeons and Nostromo’s drums travelling at the speed of light. Vicious solos and assassins bends. Acid krautrock and cosmic-comics jazz. On black vinyl. Restock expected in late February!
March 23, 2021 at 16:06 #34838wow! on BLACK vinyl !!!
March 23, 2021 at 17:16 #34839Wow, thanks for the hint – first flirt is very promising: like a high percentage mix of Spacemen 3, Suicide, Black Angels, King Gizzard etc. with Kraut and heavy edge. Three albums and dozens of colour variants?! Oh dear, black is black alright!
Update: With the heavier sound they also changed the singing-style – or do they all sing and just changed roles a little?
March 23, 2021 at 17:21 #34840Yup, Slift are the dog's unmentionables – and one band I'd love to see live.

released last Friday
If you can get past everything else competing for your attention, listen to the guitar's beautiful tone and shimmering chords. As one comment has it, "That guitar feels like melted chocolate being poured into my ears by a naked lady!"
March 25, 2021 at 07:09 #34842Yeah i'd love to see Slift live too! On top of my wishlist.
@tomcat: their bass player does some backing vocals but it is mainly their singer/guitar player. Quite a versatile voice.
My favorite records from 2021 thus far is Rats on Rafts – EXCERPTS FROM CHAPTER 3 – THE MIND RUNS A NET OF RABBIT PATHS. With a title like that one would expect prog but well not really. More Sonic Youth, The Fall. Amazing album. Weird intriguing concept album by my favorite Dutch band of the moment.

March 25, 2021 at 07:51 #34843I do also really like that Slift Album, thanks for sharing
Personally, I was totally overwhelmed by the latest album by The Amorphous Androgynous. It was recorded together with Peter Hammill of Van der Graaf Generator (!) and members of Soft Machine and Spencer Davis Group. The title is We Persuade Ourselves We Are Immortal.
Really recommended.

Debut album of Ukrainian psychedelic/stoner rock band with nice double vocals and eastern vibes.
Highly recommended if you are into bands like My Sleeping Karma, Colour Haze, Elder, Somali Yacht Club, King Buffalo, etc.

Thanks. I wasn't aware of it, but I'll definitely be getting that Amorphous Androgynous album to add to my Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble collection (all recommnded).
