Just ordered the vinyl from Rune Grammofon. Can’t wait! Bought my LP player just because of COTF. Now I’m hooked on vinyl!
January 5, 2010 at 15:10 #14794January 5, 2010 at 15:14 #14795Thx, there it was! Listening to it now, sounds VERY promising!
January 5, 2010 at 16:09 #14796Thanks! It sounds amazing! But when is the actual release date? At Rune Grammofon it says 15. of January, but at Platekompaniet it says 18. Anyone who knows when the exact date is, and where I can buy it first?
January 5, 2010 at 16:36 #14797jeannette told me that the vinyl records arrive at them at the 14th….so i doubt it that my order will arrive at the 15th….damn, the third time in a row that motorpsycho release an album one day before my holidays and i think i can’t listen to it during that holidays again…
January 5, 2010 at 16:45 #14798It’ll probably be worth it. The new snippets on the radio review + the warm words from the reviewer makes me think that we’ve got a new monster to look forward to!
January 5, 2010 at 21:08 #14799Think it REALLY sounds promising with the snippets from the radio review. Can’t hardly wait!!
January 5, 2010 at 23:00 #14800I dunno guys, the songs in the interview.. I’m sort of underwhelmed.
Hopefully I’ll be proven wrong like a smug looking white girl thinking its safe walking through a park late at night when I actually get to listen to the album though.
January 6, 2010 at 01:03 #14801Seriously? To put it this way: I think that girl is gonna get an unpleasant surprise
January 6, 2010 at 07:47 #14802I think the snippets played in “Kulturnytt” sound very promising.
January 6, 2010 at 10:11 #14803Finally got to hear the whole review. The snippets sounds very promising indeed!
Oh please mister postman woaoh woaoh woaoh
January 6, 2010 at 10:23 #14804Isn´t the album going to be released digital, as well as on CD and LP?
January 6, 2010 at 10:25 #14805Concerning the production: I thought something was wrong with my stereo the first time I played LLM, but I have grown to love the dark sound. On COTF they did use an outsider to produce – okay, record them in his studio: Steve Albini. I loved the raw sound of that record. And a bit farther back: “Phanerothyme” was produced by an outsider, who – if memory serves – had a thoroughly pop track record (didn’t he produce an album for A-Ha or something?). Anyway: if this is the best produced one, I think we’re in for a real treat!

January 6, 2010 at 12:30 #14806For me they sounded best on Trust Us and It’s a Love Cult. Though strangely enough Child of the Future sounds great on headphones. The solo bass intro on Riding the Tiger fills my skull.
January 6, 2010 at 12:37 #14807TvdR: Who the hell are you talking about?
Phanerothyme was produced by Helge Sten (Deathprod), wasn’t it?
