Weird break they have now in the tour. Hope that doesn’t mean they alter eventual ending encores while they prepare for Urup.
October 20, 2009 at 12:51 #12493The reason for the “weird” break is this:
Norwegian folk-rock group GÃ¥te making a comeback-concert in Trondheim (Kenneth will be drumming)
October 21, 2009 at 08:05 #12494October 22, 2009 at 17:41 #1249510 days before the show in Berlin it’s getting close to being sold out. Koka indicates that only a few tickets are left: http://www.koka36.de/motorpsycho_ticket_31075.html!
I think it’s about time!!!
October 22, 2009 at 18:32 #12496Great that they are selling out shows again, Paradiso last year was about half full, which kinda spoils the atmosphere i think. And hey, they are better than ever, so they deserve it.
October 22, 2009 at 18:50 #12497Yeah, but the venues are only half the size this tour!
I’d rather have a 3/4 filled venue than an overcrowded sold-out venue though, makes for much nicer and more comfortable circumstances. But I kinda agree, it’s nice they went back to smaller venues and actually sell them out.
October 22, 2009 at 19:10 #12498well, if i compare the last year Paradiso gig (half full) with the Doornrooje gig (jam packed) i agree that Paradiso was more comfortable, more space, but the Doornroosje gig had a much better vibe. But maybe that also was because i had seen them in Paradiso a few times before, and this was the first time it wasn’t that crowded.

October 25, 2009 at 08:16 #12500facebook? what happened to the excellent http://motorpsychonews.blogspot.com?
October 25, 2009 at 12:02 #12501In 2006 I started working as a tour-booker for bands and ever since I do devote all of my available time resources to my agency, my bands and my concerts (http://www.magnificentmusic.de). I could simply not find the time to maintain the blog any longer, which breaks my heart, really. A lot of work and time went into the blog, in busy times several hours per day and it’s just not possible anymore. It’s particulary sad to not be able to maintain the Concert Chronology any longer because this has always been my favourite pet.
October 25, 2009 at 19:04 #12502About Berlin:
I MIGHT have one ticket left. My berlin friend probably won’t make it to the show. So if it’s sold out and/or you need a ticket, mail me wiper@gmx.ch But I can’t tell you for sure yet.

I’d like to see them in a bigger venue for a change. In switzerland, they always play the 300-500 ppls venues.
October 25, 2009 at 19:13 #12503Lido has a capacity of 500-550!
October 27, 2009 at 09:22 #12504According to rune grammofons homepage they will play Trondheim on nov. 18th. I’ll be there.
October 27, 2009 at 13:01 #12505There is is, the missing Trondheim show. Wow. Nowadays shows get confirmed and/or publicized on such a short notice. It’s like they want to make it a big secret
