My german is quite terrible, but from what i can make out of it, it sounds really promising. Man. i can’t wait. I don’t think i ever was this excited about a release.
edit: rune has an english story:http://www.runegrammofon.com/artists/motorpsycho/rlp-2088—motorpsycho_-child-of-the-future-_lp_
July 16, 2009 at 15:03 #12601yay, zeppelinesque sabbathisms. could this be any better??? 8O
July 16, 2009 at 15:47 #12602“they have chosen to release this album on vinyl only, at least for the time being.“
*that* sounds promising too.
July 16, 2009 at 16:07 #12603Nice info. I’m really excited about the track The Waiting Game which is more acoustic and recorded at home. If by that, they mean recorded in Bent’s livingroom, I’m more than happy (I’m a sucker for those acoustic Bent home demos ala 7th Dream, Wishing Well etc.)
Anyway, lotsa Sabbath references in the titles (Ozzylot and Cornucopia which is a song from the Vol.4 album). And isn’t Whole Lotta Diana both a Zeppelin and an AC/DC reference?
July 16, 2009 at 18:55 #12604Zeppelinesque. Produced by Albini. Recorded analogue. The return of the lo-fi song. Special sleeve for 180 grs. white vinyl. Motorpsycho.
Oh my God, I just had an orgasm!

July 17, 2009 at 02:12 #12605It’s gonna be a kickass end of the summer!! I suspect a whole lot of sunburnt skin, as i’ll probably forget about sun cream and everything, completely lost in the future (and oblivious to the final cost)
July 17, 2009 at 15:11 #12606Pre-orders from Stickman started today. Rune’s pre-order will start monday.

July 17, 2009 at 16:04 #12607done! :MPD:
July 18, 2009 at 18:10 #12608how do you know about “the waiting room” being acoustic? any vid/mp3 available already?
July 18, 2009 at 18:41 #12609marc: It said so on the rune grammofon website. But it could mean that it just contains more acoustic work while not being entirely acoustic…
“The slightly Zeppelin-esque â€ÂThe Waiting Game†is more acoustic and recorded at home.”
July 19, 2009 at 21:56 #12610Both Stickman Records and Rune Grammofon started to accept pre-orders!
July 22, 2009 at 15:28 #12611another tiny bit of info as we are waiting for the record to finally come out. this is how the songs are distributed on the a and the flipside.
Side A:
The Ozzylot (Hidden In A Girl)
Riding The Tiger
Whole Lotta Diana
Side B:
Cornucopia (…Or Satan, Uh… Something)
Mr. Victim
The Waiting Game
Child Of The Future
pretty likely that one of the a-side is probably clocking in somewhere around 10min. we’ll see
July 22, 2009 at 21:15 #12612Can’t wait!
July 24, 2009 at 08:15 #12613Whole Lotta Diana is obviously a Micheal Jackson tribute!
July 24, 2009 at 14:51 #12614Paolino: I suspect you’re joking, but i don’t really think so! It was probably written and recorded long before MJ died.
Otherdemon: I don’t think The waiting game is a “Home recording” per say. From what i could gather from the info, it’s the only song on the album recorded in Norway (at home)
