Great videos!
Anyone else think Snah looks a bit like Neil Young when he's singing in these vids? Check out the first verses of Cornucopia, for instance – long thinning hair, standing a bit hunched over his guitar…
May 22, 2011 at 14:46 #18427So the correct Tampere 04.05. setlist reads like this:
The Bombproof Roll & Beyond >
Hogwash >
Halleluwah >
Hogwash >
Cornucopia >
Mountain >
Neanderthal
Whole Lotta Diana >
All Is Loneliness
("Starhammer" and "Hallucifuge" were on the setlist but were omitted).
May 22, 2011 at 18:24 #18428Btw, I think we should make every attempt and effort to preserve this sensational Tampere show. How about creating the definite and complete audio (CD) and video (DVD) recordings of this? We could paste the audio of "Arne H" from the video into the audio-recording in order to complete it and likewise we could dub the video with the superior sound from the audio-recording (except for "Arne H" obviously). This exceptional concert would most certainly deserve this treatment. It is a show I would like to revisit frequently and have in my collection. I think it can be considered as a genuine highlight in the recent live history of MP.
Muusi, if you could help us obtaining the orginal files (video and audio) it would be enormously appreciated by the community! Thank you!
May 22, 2011 at 18:59 #18429Agreed! Sensational stuff this gig! Your efforts would be very much appreciated Muusi!
May 25, 2011 at 07:28 #18430did someone tape this shows?
May 25, 2011 at 07:28 #18431i mean audio…was there a link some postings above?
May 25, 2011 at 08:25 #18432Yeah, audio was taped. But that hasn't surfaced yet, just the Youtube-vids.
May 26, 2011 at 04:27 #18433Here we go. Unfortunately those two mp3's are the only and original records to exist. They are picked up straight from the Zoom. Perhaps some sweet human being could do the editing and mixing process for 'em..? There is some distortion etc. which i think can easily be mixed out! I also added some pics in the file… which are certainly free to use. Thanks for the warm feedback and helping!
May 26, 2011 at 07:10 #18434Too bad the source recording is just mp3 but of course thanks a lot for now!!!
