For those who haven’t seen it yet. Bent is clearing up some possible confusion.
July 4, 2024 at 11:21 #43048“Psychonauts aren’t s’posed to be dumb. Go listen to Coldplay or something).” Haha! Great! (Even if i might dig my own hole here…)
July 4, 2024 at 12:01 #43051“In conclusion: All is well aboard the mothership”
But what are these new recordings Scheps is mixing? Is that already something beyond “Neigh”?
July 4, 2024 at 12:22 #43054They did some studio sessions last winter with both Olaf and Ingvald. I suppose that is what is being mixed now.
July 4, 2024 at 13:13 #43055It was definitely a good move to explain things for us. It almost all makes good sense and I hope I won’t be sentenced to Coldplay. It’s just “Tomas ‘imploding'”…? Did that need to be there?
July 4, 2024 at 22:51 #43056With their history with drummers in mind, that might very well just be another nod to Spinal Tap. It also follows immediately after the «killing» of Bob LeBad, right? On the other hand, it does come across a bit ambiguous as it’s a way less obvious joke. 🤔 On the, er, third hand: let’s not overthink it. 🙃
July 5, 2024 at 10:02 #43057They recorded in Amper Tone in December 23 and January 24.
July 7, 2024 at 14:43 #43060Ah I thought Neigh is the result of these winterly Olaf/Ingvald sessions. So they’re Yay leftovers, then…
July 18, 2024 at 21:32 #43078All really makes sense and the frankness is a plus.
It is not a news for me how clear you always were and are, but the post is useful for us Psychonauts of the first years. Well done Bent.
When two friends share everything from teenage years it is very difficult for others be on the same line and I think your idea for going on alone is the best, even very difficult.
So please have some (artistic and physical rest when possible) but later come back to us, we need you. We old Psychonauts are equally aligned to you two so we miss you, but loving you we understand you need to reset and start again.
Then, see you on the road again, my friends! -
