Is there already a thread on Jonathan Sæthers band Skræng? I think Bent mentioned them in a MP post? If not, I’ve picked up a few things here and there, bandcamp etc – all very good and inspired. Loads of covers etc. perhaps by Jonathan himself, I’m not sure.

Tho today I heard their latest effort (thanks to the *In the Motorpycho family* on FB) “Congrats on Being Born” – so … nice! Straight up 90s Dinosaur Jr / Pavement vibes, lovely video, nothing like MP, just a sweet amalgamation of summer vibes and 90s aloofness. A little gem. The kids are indeed alright.

It’s of course unnecessary to compare them w MP, and maybe even to mention them in this forum, too much to be compared with at such an early start. And I’m sure they want to forge their own path. Tho I think it all sounds pretty promising!

Great LP, and a great new song! I can definitely hear a lot of ’90s Motorpsycho in there, and that’s a good thing.

Haha! Someone must surely have mentioned this on FB, but that guitar intro is shamelessly stolen from Loch Meaninglessness from Yay! Same key and all. :mp:

Oh yes. I was sure I had heard that before, but couldn’t figure out where. Great quote.

              Maybe it’s opposite :-)

Yep, there was a thread when they released their debut last year. This one
