The debut LP from Skræng (featuring Bent’s kid on guitars, vocals, keyboards, banjo and various noise trinkets) is out, and it’s bloody brilliant! Fans of ’90s US indie rock, krautrock and vintage indie rock-era Motorpsycho will love it.
Recorded at the Cheese Factory and featuring BS on tambourine :)Listened to the album today. Sounds like a steady diet of Pavement, Sebadoh and Beck has been the norm. And some Sonic Youth noise sprinkled in. EDIT: And some kraut on that one track.
Also, a bonus point if you can pinpoint the MP song that inspired the track Losing Teeth (should be easy

This album is (as far as I know) vinyl – and streaming. You may be lucky to still find it at Crispin Glover Record Shop – https://www.cgrshop.no/
I saw them earlier this summer. Talented and promising, and it’s not a one man band.

I listened to the songs on Youtube and I must say that I’m glad I have ears because liking this band’s music just because the kid is Bent’s son – is fucked up, and I don’t get it. At all.
The vocals SUCK!
I like all kinds of weird music, including that 90’s indierock shit, GbV, Sonic Youth (even the Silver Sessions) but SkRÆNG, on record – is pure garbage. VERY punk tho.
Actually a pretty cool liveband if you like getting raped in the earholes. (Seen them 3 times).who would voluntarily get “raped in the earholes” (sic!) three times, I mean… when did you notice that it might be not your favorite cup of tea?
