Dead on the drumstool – some Spinal Tappery

When all over the world – and so in Trondheim – drummers just explode (Kenneth), implode (Tomas) or just lose fire (Gebhardt) the Grateful Dead obviously do it the other way round. By the way – R.I.P. Bobby! Strange, that among all those band members now gone forever just those two drummers survive (and toghether almost from the start!). Could somebody please deliver the secret to Trondheim?

Right – Ian Paice is also the last remaining original band member in Deep Purple and never tried to evaporate, these days even fills two drum stools, one with his own DP cover band, but most of his old musical mates are still around – so this is something else, although also quite admirable.

I still wonder what we might get those coming years in Motorpsycho, though I’m quite content with the situation as it is now. (Always an indicator of coming change in MP imho…)
Probably try out two drummers parallel – or even three ones as in King Crimson of late?
