This is official:
Demon Box world-wide exclusive show in Tønsberg, Norway, July 2015
Motorpsycho are perhaps the most influential Norwegian rock act ever. This legendary band are revered the world over for their special approach to research, make and perform music and how to present it. Their powers have not waned over time. They are back in 2014 with an new album entitled "Behind The Sun" which sees the band hitting yet another absolute top form. But it is the earlier material from their formative years that many of their fans hold closest to their hearts – and one of these classic albums will be performed in full in a world-wide exclusive show at Slottsfjell 2015. That record would be Demon Box, a groundbreaking album which combined melodic sensibilities with experiments and noise in a way that at the time was really rather rare.
Demon Box will also soon be out in a special re-released vinyl edition, long awaited amongst connoisseurs.
Great News.
And according to Dagsavisen today, they will release two new albums in 2015.
Short comment in adressa.no
And also this interview in dagsavisen.no where Bent can reveal that they are currently mixing the recordings from this summers Cathedral concert – to be released as album and film before Easter.
Then, the next album will be based on what they are preparing for the upcoming show at Teknisk museum – recording in the spring and release next autumn.
So, they are not quite in the "play the old songs over and over again" mode. Still something exiting to look forward to :STG:
oh yes. thats why i love that band so much. they keep themselves and their fans excited over so many years. great news :MPD:
