https://bigbravesl.bandcamp.com/album/vital
The new DJINN is way more accessible than the previous one IMO :
https://djinnsweden.bandcamp.com/album/transmission
new Mythic Sunship is unsurprisingly very good :
https://mythicsunship.bandcamp.com/album/wildfire
For '60s high quality pop Frisco influenced, the new Cool Ghouls is very good :
https://coolghouls420.bandcamp.com/album/at-georges-zoo
New Iceage album is also pretty decent, although less than the glorious "Beyondless":
May 23, 2021 at 21:30 #34854Not new! I hope it's OK to throw in the occasional, unearthed, old treasure, in the hope that it clicks for someone else too. I'm just 51 years late to this particular party! Something tells me it's the sort of thing Bent and Snah might have tracked down for their collections. Apologies if this is not new to you.
T2 – It'll All Work Out In Boomland (1970)
(hold on for No More White Horses!)
May 26, 2021 at 11:53 #34855Instrumental Space/Kraut Rock from Kiel, Germany: Kombynat Robotron. Their latest release -270 C is awesome. And they feature very nice coverartwork.
May 30, 2021 at 20:15 #34856Another great debut album from Ukrainian prog/stoner band Dreadnought in the Pond – what a prolific year so far !
Dreadnought in the Pond – 2021 – 0=1
June 9, 2021 at 21:28 #34857Just had a new gem from Stickman in the mail:
Delving – Hirschbrunnen
ELDER Frontman Nick di Salvo's solo project….highly recommended! a really craftfully composed instrumental psych/rock/howeveryounameit-album. Certainly some traces of Motorpsycho and Jaga Jazzist (minus the horns). Also, really nice artwork!
June 10, 2021 at 05:38 #34858yes marc,
i just wanted to post this record here
the DELVING – Hirschbrunnen is the best record i heard in the last 3 years (exept MP)
melodic pych – kraut with a littly monotony what i really not boring.
great structure of sound, like a Hitchkockfilm with ecalation at the end.
absolutely great album!!!!
June 10, 2021 at 17:48 #34859+1 to delving
Another 2 recently released albums, that some of you might like:
Jack O' the Clock – Leaving California
https://cuneiformrecords.bandcamp.com/album/leaving-california
Quote:Jack O’ The Clock’s Leaving California is a highly-detailed musical adventure that reveals new layers with repeated listens, from the opening strums of “Jubilation,†which introduces the record with whimsical folksy fanfare, to the angular harmonized violin lead on the closing track, “Narrow Gate.†Throughout, the songs of bandleader Damon Waitkus recall artists such as David Sylvian, Fairport Convention, and Elliott Smith, while creative musical arrangements showcase the band’s high-level compositional and instrumental chops. Upon first listen, Leaving California offers plenty of hooks, but this is music that truly reveals its depth upon the scrutiny of repeated spins. The band have referred to themselves as 'majestic junk folk' and that's a pretty funny but not inaccurate description for a band who blend folk music and experimental music together in a unique way.
“It’s like hearing some of my favourite 'Old Timey' fiddle and guitar records…updated with compositional ideas worthy of a Stockhausen or a Boulez.†– The Sound Projector

Giant Sky – S/T
https://giantskyband.bandcamp.com/album/giant-sky
Quote:“If Nick Drake and Tame Impala, produced by Brian Eno, co-wrote the new Blade Runner soundtrack, Giant Sky would be itâ€June 10, 2021 at 20:16 #34860Thanx a lot punknotyet. Giant Sky is very nice. I already hear it the 2nd time.Singer 2nd Song is from Soup if I hear right
June 10, 2021 at 21:13 #34861the conscience, glad you liked it. Yes, according to discogs (https://www.discogs.com/Giant-Sky-Giant-Sky/release/19018615): "Giant Sky is the solo project of Erlend Viken from Norwegian prog-/post-rockers Soup."
Also from the latest post in Giant Sky's bandcamp community:
"…I know many of you came via my other band Soup, and though I am the composer for both projects, I hope u find something new in this release. big hugs, Erlend".
So there is definitely a connection between these 2 bands .
June 10, 2021 at 21:24 #34862It really does not sound like a solo project. Thanx for Info
June 10, 2021 at 21:35 #34863Soup started out as a solo project, so Giant Sky is kind of back to the beginning.
Soup's second album Children of E.L.B. was produced by Snah btw.
June 11, 2021 at 05:39 #34864@ Thor Egil, Yes. I have this album and the following. Like it. Great live band too. Seen them with Coogans Bluff and Spidergawd in Munich. 2014 I guess. What a line up
June 11, 2021 at 10:24 #34865That Giant Sky stuff is indeed very cool, thanks for posting
June 11, 2021 at 22:42 #34866Just Opened my latest Stickman order today and can confirm the praising of DELVING – "Hirschbrunnen": the instrumenal space out-parts of Elder extracted with multicoulored shades from Kraut to Jazz to universe: worth the purchase and vinyl is going fast as I heard … some familiar mp-vibes on there as well
Next album is the new KING BUFFALO: fat, fett, phat. I think they never sounded THAT sharp!
https://kingbuffalo.bandcamp.com/album/the-burden-of-restlessness
(PAPIR's "Jams" are still sealed but may be already suggested to any krat-rocker on here
