A little bit of nitpicking: The original version of Wishing Well is in fact from the Starmelt EP

otherdemon: Your nitpicking lead me on a path of first regretting that I stored my recordcollection in the attic, then I felt sad for only needing my old CD's only for reference, not listening.. Damn you, computertechnology and all the sloppiness you bring forth!

I`ve been listning to "all is loneliness" very closely. To me it sounds like three voices. Is that right? Does Kenneth sing on that track??

RW4 is amazing, by the way. Great production, great performance, great recording.

Kenneth definitely sings on Loneliness, just as he does on some other tracks (he does second voice on Starhammer live, for instance).

          Thanks!

so I googled "qajaasaaeneq", the name for part II of Bomb-Proof Roll, and it gave me this:

            Qajaasaarneq… Like Rolling a Kayak

Someone has a kayak fetish for sure. Or a fascination for the ocean.

And Arne Hassel apparently works at the Institute for Marine Research:

            Havforskningsinstituttet

Someone is fond of finding obscure references for their music.

Also, I have a google fetish.

            Googleholic?

I'm quite sure Kenneth sings on Bomb-proof as well – I can hear three voices in there at times too.

Also, is it me, or is the version of Wishing Well on 'Skronk' better than the version on Starmelt?

I personally love the version of Landslide. Phanerothyme is a great album, and I love the orchestral arrangements on the songs. But the version on RW4 is a thing of beauty. And I love the funky interplay between Bent's bass and Snah's guitar in the jammy middle section. I'm glad that an album like Phanerothyme is represented on this album, an album which was always going to be a prog-psychedelic mega-jam fest.

            Fantastic song nevertheless

Just have to say: Kenneth is one MONSTER of a drummer. Just listen to him on Arnie Hassle, going from jazz to rock to outer space and back again; this was during the HMF tour with the gigantic, but fully used perspex white kit, right? Or his superbusy but supertight playing on The Alchemyst: in one section he is pummeling every drum on his kit at the same time and then somehow finds the time to bring in his cymbals too! Had to scuttle around on the floor for my jaw after that one…

Brilliant, mind-blowing record. What a freaks, all three are Gods (with Snah the True one, Kenneth the drum-devil and Bent the bass-angel). Wow. And produced extremely well. Just don't like Landslide, never loved this song but hey, this leaves 70 minutes of cool stuff.

What's the bands thing with baseball. I have hard time imagining the guys watching baseball on the tube. BTW, I believe the Dutch reference is about football. It's great to have a track from one of the few shows I've see. Very cool.

OK, my bits. Love the songs (though I had to hear it from an "alternative" source) I love everything though I wasn't blown away by Alchemyst. I guess we all need to have a beef. I would have loved to hear SunShip, or Tiger or Whole Lotta Diana. But it all works. BTW, count me in a s a HUGE fane of wishing well. Go back and dig the version from Stockholm 2002. And I love the version on Starmelt. Love all of that EP. Only real complaint, why not 2 cd,s. It was fine for BH/BC. I know they had plenty live stuff for it. Love it anyway. I guess after waiting so long for more live, bitching about it is just whining.
