You bastard
But can’t you give us something….a song by song description, an overall review? a dice throw? Whatever….it’s all good
December 17, 2009 at 23:32 #15659Ok, maybe later. Gotta sleep now. But as I said: I really suck at describing music. Have a listen at that german site, even though it’s 30 seconds of each song…
December 18, 2009 at 00:04 #15660Do you really think i missed that?
Anyway…TRY man! When you’re rested. It’s still a month untill it’s unleashed upon us regular mortals…!
December 18, 2009 at 02:32 #15661Thanks Marc (not MarK) for this link:

Sounds great, Kenneth is the man!
W.B.A.T. contains some excellent drumming!
December 18, 2009 at 13:00 #15662Sounds epic.
December 18, 2009 at 19:26 #15663preorder is possible at jpc but not yet at stickman? 8O
December 19, 2009 at 00:25 #15664That was MarC, not me…
December 19, 2009 at 00:38 #15665It’s a good sign when I keep returning to 20 sec. soundclips. This sounds veeeeeery promising.
Is this truly the second spring of Motorpsycho? I never thought they’d get to their ’94-’98 peak again, but the last few years has seen them going back underground, in a sense, and in the process they’re evolving into a new band with a new lease on life. It’s almost like two parallell runs…first with Geb, now with Kenneth. The string of albums starting with BHBC now looks better and better…
December 19, 2009 at 00:55 #15666This album is really starting to grow on me. It’s not an epic masterpiece like Blissard or Trust Us or AADAP, but it’s very very good, yes. Hooray for that! Starhammer has a long, slowly built up impro middle part, after which they return to the main theme. Made me think of Mountain (although less heavy of course).
December 19, 2009 at 05:01 #15667credit where credit’s due

By the way; Saw the Malmö DVD again last night. And i just gotta say….with Kenneth on board (Thanks for joining man, you’re the best thing that could ever happen to this band!!!!) we’re now looking at the best band in the world! A few more vocal practices and we’ll have the best band in the universe
December 20, 2009 at 14:21 #15669Dude, it already WAS the best band in the world. Until LLM that is…
December 20, 2009 at 14:26 #15670That snippet of WBAT sure sounds pretty Mars Volta-ish, what with Snah and Kapstad being spotted at their Oslo-gig this year and last year.
And yeah, every single song sounds fucking promising! But it pisses me off that the release is 3 weeks away, while a bunch of people already have their copies to play to death during Xmas  Yeah, it’s jealousy shining through allright. Could anyone who has the album at least post who wrote what?
But I’ll wait. I am after all so privileged to be following such a great long-lasting band.
December 20, 2009 at 16:09 #15671It’s gonna be the longest 3 weeks ever
PS: i don’t think the promo copy reveals anything, judging by the posts earlier..
@ Mark: You didn’t like LLM? I for one respect Geb and all the hard work/good drumming he has put into MP the years he was a member. But hey….Kenneth Kicks his ass in skill imo! No doubt! Much more energetic and experimental! I love it!
December 20, 2009 at 22:09 #15672Quote:Kenneth Kicks his ass in skill imoMy wish for 2010: Could we slowly start to drop this? I find it kinda embarrassing. Even if Geb’s work is being credited in the same second, which actually reads sometimes like a quick excuse or something.
Now it’s Kenneth, yay, great drummer, woohoo, but please…
If I was Geb and would care to read this board, I would feel slightly pissed. And rightly so.
