@bionaut
Did I get that right? You‘ve never heard a MP studio album?
@Blashyrkh: That Leuven gig also came to my mind – I just could not decide between Pacific Sonata and Fools Gold
I'd still vote for an "official fan bootleg" of this show, a 2LP would be fine:
A1) Lacuna Sunrise (19 min.)
B1) Lacuna continued (11 min.)
B2) Psychotzar (9 min.)
C1) Pacific Sonata (22 min.)
D1) Fools Gold (18 min.)
It could be done the Gizzard way: A matrix of SBD + Audience (Bernie source). Sigh …
please tell more about the gizzard way (you listed some keywords only).
Some 5* moments:
– K9 from Konserthuset, Oslo:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2QRKVocrdw
Kind of in your dreams recordings:
– the first gig in Nidarosdomen (the Halloween gig)
– Teknisk Museum gig
both with the marvellous Ståle Storløkken.
(In general MP needs a dedicated guy on keys on stage. Baard Slagsvold, I miss you!).
Uh yes, Fool‘s Gold! Absolutely.
King Gizzard are giving selected recordings of their shows (2019 and the most recent Australian ones) in high quality as free downloads so small labels can press "official bootlegs" of those. Not that the three studio albums within the last year would be enough to play and collect … – insane
P.S.: To keep Stickman and Rune in control it could be done as a focused project by one concrete (belgian?) label. But enough of that here, that's another topic.
KGATLW are great band, in every way! But that's for another thread…
oh yes, that Leuven show was incredible
More love for that Leuven show right here. Lacuna, Sonata, Fools Gold – all 5-star for me.

…hanging on to the trip you're on since 1994
