I paid £15.49 for a sealed copy two weeks ago on eBay, so the prices you’re referring to are way out of what’s “normal”. But hey, it’s worth a shot!
Congratulations for your lucky shot.^^ The post I referred to implies two prices and gemm.com is with a few others sites a nice solution for checking prizes.
You’re right about Gemm being an ok way to check prizes.
In this case, there’s only one seller (two items), and I think he/she has missed completely on what – to me – seems to be the right prize…
Djeezes, does he really think to get 175 dollars for Black Hole/Black Canvas on vinyl?
Even if it’s mint condition and sealed, OMG
Got nearly every MP thingie on vinyl (except Soothe & Demon Box),
but no matter what, I will never sell these items
I’m only in it for the music I guess….
Am I stupid?
175? this gemm.com seems to be a quite good reference….
no way man! i gonna buy mine bh/bc copy at ebay…for about 16 euros like andreas did.
this “adayinthelife” guy is trying to take people for a ride. it’s a good thing there’s nobody here stupid enough to fall for it. gemm is an okay way of finding out a record’s value, but not if you just select the most expensive listing and pretend the others don’t exist. there are copies of black hole/blank canvas there on vinyl for less than $30, and spelt correctly too!
