Thank you Elvin, it's good to have some more info. So Bent is officially out of Spidergawd – good for motorpsycho! And as long as Kenneth is still in SG they will make their way.
I am sad about Kenneth leaving the band, but at least life and music go on and are not "over" like with the passing of Bowie, Prince and Lemmy.
Good to know that there will be something new coming and everyone seems to be ok.

May 24, 2016 at 08:37 #29528Ah ok, that's a different situation then.
May 24, 2016 at 10:37 #29529This surely came as a surpise. Very sad! Impossible to imagine they can find a better drummer than Kenneth. However, despite relentless creative output the last years, I do feel that MP are trapped in an artistic dead end street somehow. They became more redundant in their ideas than in the 90s/00s. So maybe this situation could open up for new artistic paths. And I like the idea of a Geb and Snah acoustic album/tour
May 24, 2016 at 18:03 #29530I hope so as well. But I still felt there is a lot of freshness and new great ideas in the music of the last years. Still very sad about that split, I was really overwhelmed how great Kenneths drumming worked especially during the last tour.
May 24, 2016 at 20:59 #29531..aahwhoooo…indeed…one of the best drummers on this planet left the world's finest
band for good. Supernova drums. Maybe one day or another (short darkness got to give)…
these daze in april/may were magificient to me /mind/new/good/ . TAKK.
May 25, 2016 at 01:10 #29532I got into this band basically because of how Kenneth played with them. I like a lot of the stuff before him, but I just feel that he made them one of the best bands on Earth. I had wanted to plan a trip to Norway (I'm in America) to see them a bunch of times, someday. Now I'm just a depressed bastard. I'm sure they'll be good again, but Kenneth is hard to improve upon. Dammit.
May 25, 2016 at 08:25 #29533There should be a farewell-concert to Kenneth with a setlist with only songs from his era. I want a last goodbye with the material with this setup!
May 29, 2016 at 15:57 #29534Well, now they should have time to edit a new volume of Roadwork… Maybe a good way to publish HBM Vol.2 for everyone, and in ONE piece.
And the complete "Hell", definitely the Highlight of the late Kapstad era
May 29, 2016 at 19:23 #29535A new roadwork would have to include some of the "older" Kapstad songs that didn`t make it to the last one, but have been important live, like:
Year Zero
The Bomb-proof Roll And Beyond
Hell, part 1-3
The Magic & The Wonder
Big Black Dog and/or Gullbile's Travails
May 29, 2016 at 19:56 #29536@Odindahle: Eh, The Bomb-proof was on Roadwork 4, so I don't think they'll
release yet another version of it. But I might be wrong (The Wheel was on
vol 1 & 2)
May 29, 2016 at 19:57 #29537Shit, I forgot!
May 29, 2016 at 20:51 #29538I still can't believe it.
And I wonder how long they knew that they will separate.
May 29, 2016 at 21:32 #29539May 29, 2016 at 22:47 #29540They are posting a lot og old pictures on Facebook these days, a lot from the Gebhart-era. I wonder if this could be a hint…?
