Wow, a double-nighter in lovely Bergen sounds tempting!
January 18, 2011 at 09:23 #18476Hi,
I have a dream:
To rent a minibus and follow the spring tour 2011 in Europe. This was a youth dream of mine, that never was a reality beacause of money and time. LAck of it. Now I have both (not very much money though), and want to hear from other Psychonauts if you want to join?
I am a norwegian based 30 years old searching soul who want to travel the Motorpsycho pilgrimage this spring any way, and if the bus idea is to big, maybe I will go for a interrail ticket and do it alone, but would be nice to travel together a bunch and with the flexibility a minibus gives.
The circumstances as I understand is not so clear if it will be a full tour this spring, but probably it will be, so:
If you are interested in going for a low cost mini bus trip in march/april for 2-4 weeks, give a comment about ideas on how and etc. If many people like the idea and want to join, we can start preparing.
Best
Remi
January 18, 2011 at 10:26 #18477Some of us did this for the last two tours and we dubbed it the "Magic Bus" — albeit only only for a week. It was indeed a very convinient way to follow the band because everything was neatly set-up by different members of the crew. Once everything is set up, you hop on and enjoy
January 18, 2011 at 12:56 #18478If there already exists a group of people making a Magic Bus tour for this spring, I am interested in participating.
Sounds great.
January 18, 2011 at 13:06 #18479Motorpsycho's German agent, Wieland Krämer of Powerline Agency, has confirmed in e-mails to me and others that there WON'T be concerts in Germany (and Austria) in the spring, i.e. the band will fly to Spain and NOT tour Europe around those dates. Bummer! However, Krämer hinted at the possibility of a concert in Germany the day after MP’s appearance at Burg Herzberg Festival which would be Friday, 15.07.2011! Finger's crossed!
January 18, 2011 at 13:38 #18480woooohoooo so there WILL be a swiss show! :MPD:
January 18, 2011 at 13:48 #18481That's really too bad. I looked forward to seeing them in the next months and I have no time in July.
January 18, 2011 at 13:51 #18482Uff.

January 22, 2011 at 13:40 #18483Another Norwegian spring concert semi-confirmed here
They will play the Total Club in Tønsberg "sometime this spring". The date will be revealed this week, and tickets on sale subsequently…

January 27, 2011 at 17:26 #18488Ahemm… "Stord" seems only about 80KM from Bergen, on a Saturday, three shows in a row… hmmm! 8O
Still these are "Norwegian" kilometers, meaning ferries and tunnels, right?
January 28, 2011 at 09:50 #18489Thats right takes about three hours including the ferrie. Not that many tunnels. A small town east of Bergen. The Venue isn't that big so it should get a bit intimate if the band gets the crowd going. The audience used to be crap there but I saw Kvelertak there a couple of weeks ago and it was awsome.
