If I remember correctly, the producer is KÃ¥re Christian Vestrheim. He has worked with Marit Larsen, Jaga Jazzist, Gluecifer and several others before.
November 11, 2009 at 07:37 #14704November 11, 2009 at 10:13 #14705I´ve have a feeling that this record will either suck big time or be “the best since the 90s”.
exciting news that they´ve used an “outside” producer.
They probalby could use some new input, as theres always the danger they´ll disapear up they own progrock asses. Hopefully its not another mp POP album though. What im a taking about? i dont know. arg, it is very scary when one of your favorite bands release a new album. i´m just ranting here, never mind…

November 11, 2009 at 12:20 #14706I hope it doesn’t suck.

November 11, 2009 at 13:01 #14708I can’t wait to hear Motorpsycho with a girl!
November 11, 2009 at 13:02 #14709Listen to Sunshild from the first Tussler, beautiful.

And don’t forget Timothy, disc 2, track 4.

Maybe a Tussler gig?
November 11, 2009 at 13:47 #14712Nope, definitely not Tussler. Didn’t see them until the reunion tour.

If I am not wrong I think she sang a bit and played keys.
November 11, 2009 at 14:03 #14713Funny, all my memories from UFFA are vague…
November 11, 2009 at 14:15 #14714It’s the airco.
November 11, 2009 at 14:43 #14715They came on wearing suits on one of the 90s gigs. Blissard, no doubt. Suits and short hair. Deliciously ironic for UFFA…
November 11, 2009 at 15:06 #14716@Rune: That might have been Anneli Drecker dueting with Bent on The Golden Core, no? I know she did that at least at one occation during the Timmy tour back in ’94, lucky you if you were there.
November 13, 2009 at 12:47 #14717There are quite a few information about “Heavy Metal Fruit” out there. I want to let you know what we found out.
Last Friday I had an interview with Bent and before that we had the chance to listen to the new album. You will get some information and impressions when you read the interview, but unfortunately it is only in German. So here are some points, feel free to add them:
– HMF is intelligent Dumb-Ass-Heavy-Rock or unpleasant Metal
– Vestrheim had quite a big influence
– Kenneth has a huuuuge influence on compositions, new versions of songs…
– they really think about releasing every single show in a digital way
Don´t be afraid: You will love the new album! Not too tight, not to loose, very inspired, very jazzy, wonderful melodies, psychedelic and hardrocking, great sound, seems very well produced.
