Motorpsycho remains contradictory to the core (that’s why I love them) – the press release to the new album emphasizes the strength of early 70s recordings due to less formatted style, yet the new tunes already available are just that – rather strictly formatted rock songs. And will the new album with its outer space title and theme be the one where the musical space adventures miss entirely? Just wondering…

Thomas Pynchon is correct. I immediately thought it was collaborators on the album, but I guess not. Tried looking at pictures of Norwegian musicians, but I guess it could be anyone.

Ok, so my vinyl arrived today. One of the first things I noticed is that I (and, I guess, everyone else) got serial no. 00000. Now I wonder, did B&S intend to hand number all copies, but forgot to think about the fact that they would all be shrink wrapped? If so: a bit of a bummer, but also pretty funny. 😄

Seven songs in 36 minutes—that’s pretty short for a full album.

I received my copy (and tshirt) today and I’m very happy. Yes it is quite short but fun, energetic and exciting. I’ve listened to it twice now and absolutely love it so far. Great artwork too.
