@tkm, I can only find my name once even though I made two contributions. I'm sure as long as there's a receipt/e-mail confirmation it's all good.

Probably not a coincidence but fun to mention anyway: 577 backers!

Just back home from picking up. Christer is sitting on the stairs outside the Deichman library until probably just before the presentation starts at 19. No need for any receipts when I was there.

And boy, the package is fantastic, just beautiful. Sound on vinyls playing right now, seems brilliant, clear and detailed, spaceous, absolutely lovely. Haven't found any info yet on which versions were picked.

Just received the box myself. Great packaging, and the book looks very thick… Blu ray also has a documentary which should be cool :)

Kinda short documentary with some annoying subtitles you cant turn of. Lots of familiar faces from Motorpsycho past.

Wow! Worth every penny. It looks stunning, and the performance is just mind-blowing.

I chose the "NOK 1400" option, which according to the Funde site means gold vinyl and an unsigned numbered certificate. It turns out I got a signed one – are all of the 300 first copies signed after all? Good news for me, a bummer for those who paid NOK 1600…

Christer Falck said that there had been some misunderstanding where Geb got all 300 copies of the sertificates for signing first, and being the nice guy that he is, just went ahead and signed all of them. The other guys just had to follow suit…

How’s the audio quality? Compared to lets say Roadwork vol. 4. Any big variations or jams on the songs? Still haven’t ordered one, but i wonder if I should… so many new MP releases nowadays haha

@Flippern, I haven't compared it to anything at home, but it sounded absolutely majestic at Deichman. Performance-wise, it is stunning, bordering on ridiculously great at times. I already think that some – possibly many of these versions top their album counterparts.

Compared to Slottsfjell, I'd have to say that it is less energetic overall (especially the title track, which is almost meditative and beautiful here), but that doesn't matter, because this is much more musical. There aren't many big jams, because there just wouldn't be time for that. Some of the transitions, such as from "Tuesday Morning" to "All Is Loneliness" are incredible, but the performance is more about the focus and precision than the psychedelic twists and turns. The arrangements are quite conservative, but so tasteful. Everything feels very much thought through, and there isn't a sloppy moment to be found. They obviously knew they were being recorded, which I'm sure affected their playing for better (focus) or worse (energy), and the cameras are very present. Kenneth in particular addresses the cameras, and pulls faces several times.

The encores "Fleshharrower" and "Home of the Brave" have more of a Slottsfjell-edge to them, and are both big highlights for me.

I still can't believe this was actually released. Such a gift. I couldn't be happier, and can't recommend it highly enough!

                            Was at Deichman yesterday, too.

Biggest surprise for me was All Is Loneliness. At Slottsfjell it was acoustic, and pretty close to the original. At Rockheim it was a new interesting electric take with Deathprod's audio virus giving it a more Hawkwind-ish vibe than before. I guess I maybe prefer the fantastic RW4 version overall, but this one was also very worthy.

I agree about a slightly lower energy level compared to Slottsfjell. Especially Nothing To Say and Sunchild sounded surprisingly tight and controlled compared to earlier versions I've heard.

Oh, and Gutwrench is still the ugliest MP track ever recorded

Had to leave after AIL due to early work today. And now I must buy a Blu-ray player too

@Pitje007: Looks like the Norwegian online shops only ship inside Norway. I can help you shipping to Germany, though. Send me an e-mail: winsnes at gmail, and we'll figure out something :-)

So I was out today shopping for a bluray player, didn't find a cheap one (would only need it for this gem here), came home and found a postman's note to pick this very gem up tomorrow at the post office since I wasn't home to hand it over to. Aaaaah!!!

                                Thanks for letting me share.
