“Her kan «Balthazaar», «Three Frightened Monkeys» og «Netzar (The Second Coming)» nevnes som de soleklart største høydepunktene på albumet, hvor sistnevnte byr på over 20 minutter med ko-ko-prog i sin mest insisterende form, mer i retning av bandets nyere utgivelser, spesifikt den såkalte «Gullvåg»-trilogien.”
Ko-ko prog i sin mest insisterende form:) Love it!
February 21, 2025 at 23:33 #43903“Visions” magazine (German) published an album review. It’s behind a paywall and tools like byebyepaywall won’t do. So, might anyone be able to paste the text here? Would be appreciated.

Not sure how the reviewers can slam a 6/10 on such dense, lenghty and complex piece of music in such a short time. After listening to MP for almost 30 years, it will take me at least two weeks to fully wrap my head around this properly and consider ranking it in the MP catalogue. I remember hating Phanerothyme with passion when it came out, and it’s one of their albums I go back to the most.Let’s all rejoice a new album is out, and a tour is coming soon. It’s a great day and a great year to be a Motorpsycho fan.”
February 22, 2025 at 01:06 #43905btw is it you, schwedenkrone, offering the new album on discogs for 80€? if so, nice job.
February 22, 2025 at 12:29 #43906With so many tracks on the album I would like to hear live – adding to the already massive MP canon – it gets more and more imperative to visit several MP concerts in a row. The other solution – 4 hr plus concerts – doesn’t seem practicable for band or audience either. I guess they’re only recording so many good tracks each year to make multiple concert attendance unavoidable…
February 22, 2025 at 12:39 #43907Wow, the new album is seriously great. I’m not a fan of the “best since…” trope, but I can’t remember being so excited with new MP offerings in a while, maybe a decade or so. (Which is of course not to say recent albums have been bad, but this really seems something else)
February 22, 2025 at 17:50 #43908Awesome stuff! They had me at hello with this one.
February 22, 2025 at 19:23 #43909@johnny_heartfield That’s why I sold my ticket to the Pixies today. They are playing in Groningen the same day as Motorpsycho are playing in Vera so now I am going to see MP in Groningen and Amsterdam.
