Nice, more tour debuts
I’m guessing Laird of Heimly was played electric?
Hasn’t been anything acoustic so far this tour.
@otherdemon: Yes, it was played electric.

They should ditch the light technician though. Too much, too in your face, it was effing annoying. Had to stand with my eyes closed almost all the time (but I tend to do that a lot during MP gigs anyway).
@ Mark, I totally agree, it makes the backdrop projection (wich I like a lot with MP) useless as well. The lighting during the Tower-era (the battered, dimmable movie-set-like lamps) I liked the best so far. And I can understand the performers don’t like the light in THEIR eyes, but it remains annoying to have it most of the time in OUR eyes. A stage should mainly be lit from above. The current lighting does not enhance a “psychedelic” experience at all, short of a “bad trip”.
I also agree. There was a guy at the front wearing sunglasses and could totally understand why.
