If you want to spend an oval weekend in Trondheim.
The Geb will play a rare concert at Byscenen on August 19th, under the KlubbPstereo program. And if you meet up one day early you will also get a concert with Møster! – featuring Snah and Kenneth – at the same scene. Pstereo.no
It's a tour – a report from the first consert in Tromsø – itromso.no
The reporter didn't like the setlist.
Speaking of setlist, maybe someone has one? Did he play When you're dead, for example?
I guess there is not much help in it, but he did play at least one from Motorpsycho and one from Tussler. I'm afraid I can't remember what songs. Don't think he played When you're dead, but I lost the last 5-10 minutes due to an extremly filled up bladder. The concert was as stated in the article a little messed up, but I enjoyed myself anyway. OK as part of a festival.
After giving it a second thought and checking what songs Gebhardt did write I'm reasonable sure it was "What if…" from IALC. Still not sure about the Tussler-tune, but a far guess is "Morning Rain" from the second album since that seems to be the only tune he wrote from the project except the themesong and "The skies are full of…. wine", and I would have remembered if it was any of them. Note to self: make a note on the phone or something next time.
On the other hand: Bent did a fantastic performance with Sugarfoot at Bukta, he played with a constant big smile at his face all the time, and I think both the band and the audience found the 50 minutes or so to way to short. Sugarfoot also did a small gig at the record shop Backbeat in Tromsø earlier the same day, but without Bent as the corner they played in only had space enough for 4 members. He was present anyway, buying som used records in the store, including an old Elton John-record. Did not see that one coming :o)
