Some really good news from back at the farm here. I guess the shop will be closely scrutinized from now on.
I really hope they do not continue as a duo. I think that would limit them live in respect of what songs can be played. I also think the last time they have been a duo (Black Hole/Black Canvas time) was their least best time span. Especially considering live performances.
A duo album like BHBC would be interesting. Once again the two guys could focus on the very core and meaning of Motorpsycho. But then I guess they do need an as permanent as possible drummer for playing tightly knitted impros live. It might turn out too lose and into hippie musician noodling otherwise. Then again, that latter thing can be a new challenge, too: to turn looseness into something still relevant, resonant and meaningful.
