I’m wondering if anyone has got a digital version of the wonderful artwork of Toadwork Vol. I (Live at Hennie Onstad Kunstsenter 23.08.08). Also, were there ever released more performances in the Toadwork series? And has anyone made any other artwork in general; it would be interesting to see. @Traktorbass, am I right if a read that you’ve made some at the old forum?

I’m now listening to the bootleg from Molde Jazzfestival, 19.07.2002 with Jaga Jazzist Horns, IT IS AMAZING!

      Hi OtherFool, whoever you are.

Did you see my notes from the Molde concert?

(Sorry, I never made artwork for my recordings)

Oh, and another remark: You are not listening to a bootleg, unless you have a(nother) recording (than mine) which was not cleared with the band, and/or you bought it for money. My recording was cleared with the band, and it can never be a bootleg as long as it is shared, and not sold.

Glad to see you enjoy it!

@OtherFool: Yeah, I made artwork for 27 recordings.. It’s my own series called Bootwork, based on the Roadwork artwork, made with pictures from the actual shows (all except two I think)

@Other Anders: Read your comments from the concert, cheers! And thanks for defining “bootleg” as well I guess, I’ve never paid for anything :)

@TraktorBass: Sounds good. Is this Dime? And have you got a webpage where the pictures are available? Did you do Toadwork I as well?

Anyone here who was at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter and eventually recorded the soundcheck or remembers what song they played besides Demon Box and Un Chien? Can’t remember, if it has been a song or just a straight rocking jam. Anyone?

            Cheers,

            Wulf

@OtherFool: The gigs are mostly from Dime, yes. I have artwork for Hennie Onstad as well. We can arrange something :) Give me a couple of days!

I made the recording/artwork for “Toadwork” :) I can hook you up with high res files if you need. I haven’t made any more “Toadworks”, but perhaps I will…. ;)

My avatar is also from the Henie Onstad gig.

                  @Rolf: That’s great! Could you e-mail it to me at tellef@raabe.no ?

                  Cheers!

why are Motorpsycho bootlegs so hard to find besides on torrents?

What’s the band’s vision on taping and sharing recordings?

Torrents are the most common way to share recordings nowadays anyway, so that’s where you’ll find them. Happily, torrenting has killed off most of the bootlegging companies too, so you’re unlikely to find a lot of “rare import” MP cd’s in record stores anywhere.

There are plenty of shows up on dime right now – someone recently uploaded a host of old shows going back to 1990 – and I’m sure you can find other similar sites with MP content.

I know Dime but if you want some MP shows there, I have to kill my ratio, cause i would be the only one left wanting some. There are plenty of other sites (blogs, archive.org,… to find bootleg recording but hardly any MP shows.

I’ve tried several options on google but can’t similar sites with MP content (and I don’t mean official releases. I buy those).

                    Still the followiing unanswered:

What’s the band’s vision on taping and sharing recordings?
