from the mini-review of RWIV: "May next year bring U.S. tour dates. Please."
let's hope they make it happen!!!
I have seen him on many many rockumentaries and always liked him. But only now I know why.
Which rockumentaries? Or rather.. got any rockumentary suggestions? Love them!
A headbangers journy is excellent me thinks. Got Anvil somewhere, yet to se it. I am trying to break your heart is awesome as well.
He's in I am trying to break your heart.
I've seen him in almost every documentary. There's lots around, from 70ties prog acts to the Punk Years or british New Wave…. anything worth talking about he seems to be in.
As a suggestion, one of my recent favourites is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHUwkYkn_kA
though he isn't in this one.
2 more greats, without him as well, though:
24 hour party people (half doc, half acting out)
the filth and the fury
Aha.. Thats David Fricke. Been a while since I've seen I am trying to break your heart then.
Thanks for the tips supernaut, will check out!
I second 24 Hour Party People! Wonderfully hilarious fun movie!
He's also very involved in the Album documentaries for Nevermind (Nirvana) and Dark Side of the moon (PF) to name two more. Browse around on youtube, and you'll find both
