Bought both volumes recently. Currently playing vol. 2 (with Reine Fiske) on a loop.

Highly, highly recommended (in case anyone is deliberating).

Thanks for posting the video suntripper. I was at this Ronnie Scott's gig last month, my friends and I taking up most of the tables right in front of the stage. We had such an incredible view of Thorsten, first arriving at the venue and setting up his kit, but then of course his magnificent playing – what a phenomenal drummer! What an incredible band! In 2018, three of us had flown over to Norway see E9 and Motorpsycho at Drammen, and when one of us later spoke with Bent at the acoustic gig in London, he mentioned the Drammen gig to Bent who replied, oh yeah, Elephant9 blew us off the stage that night!

And I absolutely agree with your assessment of the Psychedelic Backfire albums. THough both are brilliant, the one with Fiske is my favourite of the two.

hi guys, as mentioned by Blashyrkh in the Møster! post, Elephant9 will play in Sojo (Leuven, Belgium) on March 7. A film crew from Norway will come and record the whole show as they did with the show in Kampen Bistro in Oslo with Reine. The trio show footage did not work out, so they'll have a retry in Leuven! If you live in the area come and make some noise for this great live band! Bent told me they got blown away by Elephant9 last time Motorpsycho shared a stage with them… Well, that's not bad for a reference
