According to Bent Motorpsycho will play at the Opera (www.operaen.no) next easter. I guess they will play together with the same symphony orchestra which plays on the next record. It will definitely be an epic and monstrous gig. Can't wait!

Wohohoow, this Weekend is full of good motorpsycho news
checking the forum for the first time in ages, and it´s one wow after another!
This will be EPIC!
So looking forward to this! and of course the new LP, and the new-record-tour.
good times!
Yes! Just as I wished for when the discussion about touring w. Trondheim Jazz Orchestra came up on this forum.
Is it confirmed that they will play with an orchestra? It seems that it's a different gig from the one they mention with Ståle, and that they will do a separate tour with him?
Orchestra or not, though; the people need shows!
Nothing is confirmed, it's just a dream thought. And yeah, it seems like it is a different project. In that case we will get two albums this autumn. Nom nom!
Oh dear. My brother-in-law works at the Opera, and a year ago he got me free tickets for a (bloody marvellous) Wagner opera. The tickets were in one of the boxes right next to the stage – I wouldn't really mind getting the same seat this time.
Before the Øyagig was announced last year it was a lot of different thoughts what was going to happen in Oslo 2010.

I wrote : "Finally the tax money pay back with an evening with motorpsycho with friends in the opera"
And Tonie's reply was : "From Svartlamon to the opera? When pigs can fly."
So do pigs fly ?? he-he- he
But for sure this is going to be awesome. It would be cool if everybody that buys the album that will be released later this year, will get a code to be able to buy ticket for the Opera show before everybody else. I think bands like Wilco have given "die-hard-fans" the possibility to buy ticket for a show before they were released to the public.
