Dear motorpsycho community. I thought I’d try to reach out to those of you that live in Norway or Germany (or Sweden for that matter) and are into the jazz scene. I figured it’s not far from motorpsycho. Jazz and what mp is doing is all the same thing to me :) it’s about the creative process and improvisation.

I am looking for a way to get into some of the Norwegian and German jazz festivals. In Sweden i do have som contacts but always appreciate more. I am booking a Scandinavian tour for the New York based jazz vibraphonist Chris Dingman for probably next summer. I am not a regular booking agent and am doing this for the first time out of love for the music. I got to know Chris this winter and offered my help.

If you like jazz, please do check him out on your streaming service of choice. He has played with Herbie Hancock, Wayne shorter and new talents such as Ambrose Akinmusire and Linda May Han Oh. He wants to do a solo tour with sound journeys. Lots of improvisation. He has a Bandcamp subscription project that’s been going on a while. It’s very meditative and beautiful, very organic and sensitive. Any advice would be much appreciated. You can send a PM to thevibesoftheuniverse(at)gmail.com

Please insert proper @ (it’s to avoid spam)

    Thank you very much!
