Mmm. Ok, it's Kenneth and everybody loves him. But. Last week I attended one of their concerts. I left right after 20 minutes of "bwaaaargh" and double bass pedal – wich were really unbearable to me. Maybe that's because I've never been a big metalhead, but hey, they suck. :D

seen them. liked it a lot and i'm no metalhead. besides speedy doublebass and gruntvocal there were lots of soundscapes and build ups. quite entertaining. there's no denying that i was quite open to it because of kenneth. but it WAS really fun, i can't help it. i also like these guys: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdMDcG3zAEI

I've seen them the day before yesterday at Wiesbaden…as one of nine paying visitors. Despite the poor attendance, Kenneth and Stig really thrashed it out. I quite enjoyed their 50-minute-set…it reminded me of Carcass, the combination of grunts and screams. I couldn't figure out too much that resembled a tune or a melody, even the riffs were hard to grasp. But lots of energy, and some real spaced out guitar parts, thanks to a battery of fx pedals. Stig was in some kind of Hendrix/Page-mode, at times playing the guitar with a violin bow and rubbing it against the columns (or pillars) of the room…

and Kenneth would have made for a decent Death Metal shouter!

well – I'd go and see them another time!

I saw Stian with drummer Dag Erik Knedal Andersen at The Loft in Cologne last year. We were only 3 in the audience. After they played a 50-minutes-set we drank a beer and had a very nice and interesting conversation. Then they played a second set (1 hour) for us three…

Great music and very nice and interesting guys.

And "Black Science" by Monolithic is one of my favourite albums of last year.
