The July issue of the street magazine Sorgenfri comes with a freebie CD including (among a lot of other golden nuggets) a previously unreleased track by The Tussler – "High and lonesome", a Bent original. I got to have a sneak listen to the master CD a few weeks ago, and it sounded good. :-)

If you pass by Trondheim this July, make sure to get a copy of the magazine.

Cool! Do you know if it´s a new-new song, or old but unreleased?

Have no chance of getting this as I´m not going to Trondheim in the near future, but woundn´t mind it makes it´s way to some sweet little 7".

I think it's an outtake from the 2nd Tussler album. Because according to Dampsaba, they played this song 7 times on the 2004 Tussler tour (including Rockefeller where I saw them, although I don't remember this song at all  ) I'm not sure if any of those performances were bootlegged.

I'm really hoping the studio version pops up in one form or another.

A live recording from the age of the Tussler.

Ok, so it's a live-version on the Sorgenfri CD? Kewl.

Hmm, according to the info it's Live at Ringnes – 2004

Does this mean they played Ringnes also in 2004 (can't find any info on that)? Or is the year – or venue – wrong?

I'm not sure. They released like 6-7 songs from the Ringnes 2003 concert on a split vinyl LP. But they didn't play Ringnes in 2004 AFAIK.

So either it's a typo, and the live version is from Ringnes 2003. Or it could be one of those 7 known performances from 2004, only camouflaged as Ringnes. I think some concert venues want an economic compensation if you use their name in this context. Maybe Bent just wanted to avoid that?
